Summary
Power congestion will cause low CSSR of both CS and PS service.
We can check counters as below to find power congestion:
VS.RRC.Rej.Power.Cong+VS.RAB.FailEstPs.Power.Cong+VS.RAB.FailEstCs.Power.Cong
In current version, our counter cant differentiate whether ! or "! power
congestion. #o check whether ! or "! congestion, we can first check the $ean#CP
and $eanR#WP:
%. Check the $a& #& power of the congested cell
'dd cellsetup:cellid(%%%%, )a&t&power(*+,
-. Check counter VS.MeanTCP and VS.MeanTCP.NonHS and calculate the utilit. ratio to
check whether the utilit. ratio is ver. high.
+. $onitor the R#WP to check whether R#WP is ver. high.
/. this check then we can know the uplink and downlink power status.
Currentl. for uplink we use 01uivalent 2u)ber of ser to do C'C3 for downlink we
use #CP to do C'C. 'ccording to our C'C strateg., first )ake sure so)e basic
para)eters should be configured as follows:
ADD CELLALGS!"TCH# Cell"$%&' NBM(lCa)AlgoSelSwit)*%ALGR"THM+SECND'
NBMDlCa)AlgoSelSwit)*%ALGR"THM+F"RST,
ADD CELLCAC# Cell"$%&' (lTotalE-(serN./%01&,
Solution
If the configuration is correct and power congestion still happen, we reco))end
solutions as follows:
Uplink power congestion:
If R#WP is alwa.s ver. high 4)ore than 56,d/)7, )ost probabilit. it was caused
b. uplink interference. #hen first check whether interference proble), if uplink
interference proble), then solving interference is the reco))ended )ethod.
