Seerat-tun-Nabi (peace be

upon him)

Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst

yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish:
ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he
most kind and merciful.

Chapter 33 The Coalition - Al-Ahzab: Verse

45-48

O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer

of Glad Tidings, and Warner,-

And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and

as a lamp spreading light.

Then give the Glad Tidings to the Believers, that they shall
have from Allah a very great Bounty.

And obey not (the behests) of the Unbelievers and the

Hypocrites, and heed not their annoyances, but put thy
Trust in Allah. For enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a

party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee
astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls
astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least.
For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom
and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And
great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.

Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when

He sent among them a messenger from among
themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah,
sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture
and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in
manifest error.
Chapter 8 Spoils of war, booty - Al-Anfal:
Verse 33

But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst

thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it
whilst they could ask for pardon.
Chapter 48 The victory - Al-Fath: Verse 10

Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less

than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is
over their hands: then any one who violates his oath,
does so to the harm of his own soul, and any one who
fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah,- Allah will
soon grant him a great Reward.
Chapter 53 The Star - An-Najm: Verse 3-4

Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire.

It is no less than inspiration sent down to him:

Chapter 26 The Poets - Ash-Shuara:
Verse 192-194

Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds:

With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth-

To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish.

Chapter 62 The congregation, Friday -
Al-Jumua: Verse 2

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a

messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to
them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them
in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been,
before, in manifest error;-
Chapter 33 The Coalition - Al-Ahzab:
Verse 40

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but

(he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the
Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Imran The family of 3 Chapter - - e - Aal
81 : Verse Imran

Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I

give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a
messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in
him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and
take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We
agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you
among the witnesses."
Chapter 68 The Pen - Al-Qalam: Verse 3

Nay, verily for thee is a Reward unfailing:

Chapter 68 The Pen - Al-Qalam: Verse 4

And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of

character.
Chapter 4 The Women - An-Nisa: Verse
65

But no, by the Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until
they make thee judge in all disputes between them,
and find in their souls no resistance against Thy
decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction.
Chapter 69 The reality - Al-Haaqqa: Verse
40

That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger;

Chapter 34 Saba - Saba: Verse 28

We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger)

to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them
(against sin), but most men understand not.
Chapter 46 The wind-curved sandhills - Al-Ahqaf: Verse 29-31

Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the
Quran: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!"
When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them
of their sins).

They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses,
confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight
Path.

"O our people, hearken to the one who invites (you) to Allah, and believe in
him: He will forgive you your faults, and deliver you from a Penalty Grievous.
Chapter 65 Divorce - At-Talaq: Verse 11

An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah

containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those
who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of
Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and
work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath
which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has
indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision.
Chapter 48 The victory - Al-Fath: Verse 28

It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance

and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all
religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
Chapter 9 Repentance - At-Taubah: Verse 24

Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your

mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the
commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in
which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His
Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until
Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the
rebellious.
Chapter 9 Repentance - At-Taubah: Verse
103

Of their goods, take alms, that so thou mightest purify

and sanctify them; and pray on their behalf. Verily thy
prayers are a source of security for them: And Allah is
One Who heareth and knoweth.

Peace Pact of Hudaibia
In your name, O God!
This is the treaty of peace between Muhammad Ibn Abdullah and Suhayl ibn
Amr.
They have agreed to allow their arms to rest for ten years. During this time each
party shall be secure, and neither shall injure the other; no secret damage shall
be inflicted, but honesty and honour shall prevail between them.
Whoever in Arabia wishes to enter into a treaty or covenant with Muhammad
can do so, and whoever wishes to enter into a treaty or covenant with the
Quraysh can do so.
And if a Qurayshite comes without the permission of his guardian to
Muhammad, he shall be delivered up to the Quraysh; but if, on the other hand,
one of Muhammad's people comes to the Quraysh, he shall not be delivered up
to Muhammad.
This year, Muhammad, with his companions, must withdraw from Mecca, but
next year, he may come to Mecca and remain for three days, yet without their
weapons except those of a traveller, the swords remaining in their sheaths.

O People, lend me an attentive ear,
for I know not whether after this
year, I shall ever be amongst you
again. Therefore listen to what I am
saying to you very carefully and
TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE
WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT
HERE TODAY.
O People, just as you regard this month, this
day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and
property of every Muslim as a sacred trust.
Return the goods entrusted to you to their
rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one
may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed
meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed
reckon your deeds.
ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury
(interest), therefore all interest obligation
shall henceforth be waived. Your capital,
however, is yours to keep. You will neither
inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has
Judged that there shall be no interest and that
all the interest due to Abbas ibn Abdal
Muttalib (Prophets uncle) shall henceforth be
waived
Beware of Satan, for the safety
of your religion. He has lost all
hope that he will ever be able to
lead you astray in big things, so
beware of following him in small
things.
O People, it is true that you have
certain rights with regard to your
women, but they also have rights over
you. Remember that you have taken
them as your wives only under Allahs
trust and with His permission. If they
abide by your right then to them belongs
the right to be fed and clothed in
kindness.
Do treat your women well and be
kind to them for they are your
partners and committed helpers.
And it is your right that they do not
make friends with any one of whom
you do not approve, as well as never
to be unchaste.
O People, listen to me in earnest,
worship ALLAH, say your five daily
prayers (Salah), fast during the
month of Ramadan, and give your
wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you
can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an
Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab
nor a non-Arab has any superiority over
an Arab; also a white has no superiority
over black nor a black has any
superiority over white except by piety
(taqwa) and good action.
Learn that every Muslim is a brother to
every Muslim and that the Muslims
constitute one brotherhood. Nothing
shall be legitimate to a Muslim which
belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was
given freely and willingly. Do not,
therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will
appear before ALLAH and
answer your deeds. So beware,
do not stray from the path of
righteousness after I am gone.
O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE
WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW
FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well,
therefore, O People, and understand
words which I convey to you. I leave
behind me two things, the QURAN and
my example, the SUNNAH and if you
follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on
my words to others and those to others
again; and may the last ones understand
my words better than those who listen to
me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH,
that I have conveyed your message to
your people.

Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before
him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to
unbelief ]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but
Allah will reward the grateful.
