Editor: Mrs. Linda Reynolds IV Post Office Box 1011 Placerville, CA 95667 USA Electronic Mail: SetExec@pacbell.net The Scroll of Set, newsletter of the Temple of Set, is published in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Issues are published on the Intranet for Setians with Internet access, and the availability of each new issue is announced on the TS1 YahooGroup. Printed photocopies of each issue are postal-mailed to only those Setians without Internet access. Be sure to download and read each new issue of the Scroll, as it is the Temples primary means for official communication with its entire membership. Nevertheless the Scroll is not conceived as a packaged communications device. It is intended rather as an active forum for the interplay of ideas. It is also your way of obtaining access to the entire membership with your own expertise, experiences, questions, and answers, no matter how far you may be geographically located from other Setians. As you receive issues and react favorably or unfavorably to their contents, put your reactions into letters or articles and send them to the Editor, so that your views may be considered by your fellow Initiates. The Editor reserves the right to edit and/or to abridge if necessary from a space standpoint. Any subject reasonably relevant to the Temple's interests may be addressed, as long as it is done with sophistication, courtesy, and taste. Artwork is welcome as well. Submission deadline for each issue is 30 days prior to each issue's mailing date. Time- urgent material received after the deadline will be included if possible, but this cannot be guaranteed. All written copy must be typed neatly on white paper. Please double-space all typed articles and letters. Do not type in all-capitals. Please number each page, and try to include a word-count. No unsigned or anonymous material can be printed. If you would like your work returned to you, you must include a self-addressed envelope with the proper postage. Submissions to the Scroll can also be submitted by electronic mail to the address above. Electronic submission is preferable to paper, as it eliminates the need to retype each article. If you send a letter or article by email, however, it is helpful to send a hard-copy by regular mail as well, so that the Editor can refer to it when formatting. Back issues of the Scroll may be downloaded from the Scroll of Set area of the Intranet. A master table of contents of all issues to date is also available, as is a master topic/name index. These are all in .pdf format. Even a quick glance through the table and index will give you some indication how wide-ranging the spectrum of the Temple of Sets interests is, and what diverse wisdom exists among its Initiates. Some of the articles are brief; others are major essay length. Some are whimsical, humorous, artistic, poetic; others represent serious scholarship of university caliber. Common to all of them is an intense vitality of the self: an exuberant expression of the elan vital of the on of Set. May you delight in the many adventures that await you herein!
