It is with a deep sense of loss that I send you this message of condolence and encouragement following the death of your beloved daughter and one of the young dedicated Kenyan Ms Emmy Chepngetich Ruto who passed on after a short illness. It is hard to comprehend how the cruel hand of death has so suddenly snatched Emmy Chepngetich from our midst. She was an energetic !ovial and an e"tremely pleasant person to deal with. #he death of Emmy reminds us that we are so!ourners in this earth. It is therefore prudent for all of us to be focused and contribute to the wellbeing of our society. Emmy Chepngetich was one of the few young professional Kenyans whose innovativeness and creativity has immensely contributed to the agenda of lighting up the whole nation through her s$ill as an electrical engineer. %or the period she has wor$ed at the &eothermal 'evelopment Company Emmy has proved to be a dependable person whose e(orts were geared towards the success of the nation. )er participation in social activities such as the game of cric$et which saw her being appointed as the captain of *ational +omen Cric$et team was valuable contribution to the growth of sports in the country. 'espite her success the late Emmy learnt the virtue of humility which enabled her to always mingle with both the lowly and the mighty in society. I sincerely hope the ,ord -lmighty will give you strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
