Gods mercy ....
Gods mercy shows you a ath which! if you wal" this ath! will
ine#ita$ly result in rogress. %o gift from a$o#e is as $eneficial
as the offering of the di#ine Word $ecause it gi#es you the
guiding rincile for your earthly way of life and informs you of
Gods will. &mlementing the di#ine Word is siritual rogress and
thus the meaning and urose of life on earth.
'umanitys siritual o#erty! its distur$ingly low emotional
degree of maturity! is not ac"nowledged $y eole! they do not
$elie#e in siritual higher de#eloment on earth $ecause they are
sychologically and hysically only attached to earth.
(ll their intentions and efforts urely asire towards the
ac)uisition of earthly goods! and the erfection of soul as the
urose of earthly life is considered to $e a mere fantasy or
imagination which came forth from human will itself and cannot
$e ro#en.
Only few $elie#e in life after death $ut only this $elief ma"es the
necessity for higher de#eloment on earth understanda$le!
$ecause only then all of creation ma"es sense .... namely to
ser#e the higher de#eloment of the sirit ....
But since this $elief is lac"ing in eole! since they negate the
souls life after death!
they do not recognise a siritual urose of creation either! they
merely regard e#erything from the oint of #iew that earthly life
itself is meaning and urose and that e#erything simly e*ists
to ser#e the $ody in order to ro#ide it with the greatest ossi$le
comfort. (nd this attitude does not imro#e the human degree of
maturity $ut is more li"ely to reduce it if the human $eing does
not recei#e hel! if Gods lo#e does not inter#ene with 'is mercy
and enlightens him.
(nd this mercy is now flowing to them yet it is not understood $y
many eole or they would $e highly delighted and a$le to
accomlish their struggle on earth with increased resistance.
But human $eings are siritually $lind .... they do not "now the
urest truth from hea#en and only ha#e eyes for the world! they
understand all worldly things $ut lac" the inner urge to loo"
$eyond these to "now the hidden things $ecause no one can
ro#ide them with the e#idence of life after death ....
