When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,
Who do people say the Son of Man is?
14 They replied, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others,
Jeremiah or one of the prophets.
15 But what about you? he asked. Who do you say I am?
16 Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
17 Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to
you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are
Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not
overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.

Congratulations to Rev. Fr. Dr. Tom Thomas MSFS

Congratulations Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath on his 69th Birthday
CONGRATULATIONS FOR EARNING YOUR DOCTORAL DEGREE
IN PSYCHOLOGY - Rev. Dr. Tom Thomas MSFS
Fr. Tom Thomas Pannalakunnel MSFS has completed his
doctoral studies in psychology from Argosy University.
The specific title of the program is Doctor of Education
in counselor education and supervision. The title of the
research is CHANGES IN SUBSTANCE CRAVING AND OTHER
PSYCHOLOGICAL COMPONENTS AFTER TREATMENT IN?A
RELIGIOUS-BASED PROGRAM.
The purpose of this research was to analyze changes in craving for drugs and alcohol after being in a chemical
dependency-partial hospitalization clinical program that has a spiritual focus, and if this change was related to
levels of spirituality, depression, emotional lability, self-harm, and interpersonal relationships before, and after
treatment. Three research questions, with eleven associated null hypothesis were tested using data collected
from 363 outpatients that were in a religious-based partial hospitalization program.
There were significant differences in pre- and post-test treatment assessments for craving, feelings of spirituality,
self-harm, depression, emotional lability and interpersonal relationships. Craving was significantly correlated with
depression and with emotional lability.
