LA ACTITUD CIENTIFICA (EXPERIMENTACIN) EN LOS NIOS PREESCOLARES.
ELIZABETH CORRALES DVILA
SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE (EXPERIMENTAL) IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN. Corrales ELIZABETH DAVILA
INTRODUCTION Preschool education is a fundamental part of the educational background of all human beings, so it is necessary that the commitment to promote the integral development of the individual acquired this from foster activities to potentiate the skills the child has in their different aspects (intellectual, social, emotional and physical), therefore it is important to mention that science contributes greatly to achieve this goal. The child through conducting experiments may specifically be able to solve the problems that are presented by means of scenario development, its implementation, to get results and compare them with the ideas or theories that have about something . Given that science is "the systematic body of knowledge that attempt to explain natural phenomena and the phenomena produced by man, that is, science is the knowledge of how and why things happen" (SEP, 1193: 17) and official documents such as the Constitution, the General and State education Law, mentioned that education should be based on the results of scientific progress, which must be supported by scientific research would enhance observational capabilities , critical analysis and reflection, and encourage attitudes that promote research, it is important that kindergarten activities, frequently, these laws contribute to motivate the children, feel the interest in finding their established own solutions. Piaget (1975) mentions that it is not enough just to provide the child with information to generate knowledge, but being in constant contact with objects, allow you to have better and more meaningful learning. Foster children in a Scientific Attitude (particularly through experimentation) will allow children to have the ability to search, mistakes, confront their discoveries and inventions with others and explain their procedures, so that should help train persons with a live and safe with enough imagination, research, analysis and reflection to discover the natural world through scientific sense. Materials and methods Based on a series of interviews applied to educators, it was observed that consider science in children (specifically experimentation) as an important issue in education, allowing to hypothesize children discover, devise theories, implement and check them (solve problems) but not really apply experimental activities. Also mention that the lack of proficiency in new Early Childhood Education Program 2004 (PEP 2004) also contributes to the lack of interest in performing experimental activities focus more on the activities of plants and health care. It addition to this an experiment with children where the ease with which they proposed possible results, the tested and then compared with the ideas that were previously in which it was possible to note that although in nature was observed was also applied, tend to discover, search, etc., which do not carry out daily activities like this somehow makes it aside. This work aims to design and implement an intervention proposal specifically with activities to develop hypothesizing, experimentation, observation and description, by experiments, and age appropriate features. This will be through the following activities: the challenge of straw, play with taste, who raises the sail, an experiment without explosion, like putting a boiled egg in a jar, among others, and they observe the reactions by presenting children to be in direct contact and actively participating in the experiments, to do different experiments according to what it is intended to encourage them to be classified. PRELIMINARY RESULTS At the time it made the approach to the problem, the theoretical framework, which consists of several chapters that address the methodological characteristics of PEP 2004, the link between education and science, the difference between scientific attitude and attitude toward science, what is science ?, What is experimentation? among others, and the proposed intervention is in progress which will be applied to detect whether agree with the points made can be achieved in children a positive scientific attitude. The preschool assessment is qualitative, but will propose tags observation quantitatively to do so we can see if being in contact with the experiments and the children who can be made to get them to take a scientific attitude favorable than later will allow you to keep the subject on what is happening around them and even invent their own theories. CONCLUSIONS So far it has been proved that there is a wide variety of documents that support this work which has placed greater emphasis on the realization of the same in order to obtain results that allow children to take initiative and interest in conducting experiments which will serve throughout their lives in order to solve the problems they encounter.
