Learning is a process
that involves change in
behavior as result from
experiences. The
learning behaviors of
Prime are active and
well participative.
The learning process
used by the teacher
purpose is to show
something to be done.
The learner must
repeat or practice
what they had learned
in order to remember.


The student I observed from grade 8 Prime has unique
learning process. He easier understand and get the music,
routines and activity while looking only at his teacher
and doing nothing. After the teacher teach all the
routines all of his classmates are busy practicing the
routines while he is standing at the side thinking and
looking only to his teacher. The teacher let him on that
place knowing that after he teach all the routines he
knew all of that already. And after that the teacher told
him that he must teach his classmates the proper
routines.

He integrated his lesson, using different instructional
materials like textbook, visual aids, and laptop
reinforcing values in every lesson, recognizing the effort

understand through different activities. Giving an
assignment to challenge them or to evaluate them if they
learned something on the lesson they discussed.


Activity 6
A teachers job is to facilitate the learning of all students. This means you have to cultivate in your
lessons a manner of instruction that successfully challenges every student, so at the lessons
conclusion they will have extended their understanding and skills. The importance of teaching
strategies is to make it easier to implement a variety of teaching method and techniques.
All of the instructional materials are very important in teaching and learning process. Because all of
these serves as an aid for instruction. Through this, the teachers will able to make her/his strategies
in teaching more effective and meaningful, and the students will be able to understand and easily
absorb the lessons well.
Assessment tools like people have certain strength and certain limitations. By utilizing a variety of
both formal and informal assessments you get a much clearer picture of where a student is at
educationally. Basically, the need of assessment tools is to check understanding of students. Teacher
would as such know whether learning has taken place or not.

During this observation, He used group activity and interpersonal
approach. These activities give students opportunity to speak their
hearts and minds. Its also her way of letting the students to show their
talents and their way of learning.
Interpersonal approach activity allows student to share insights and
feeling to their members in their group. The teacher served as

Before I give my assistance in him I observe it first and ask him
some questions and then I knew why his not understand the lesson
it is because he dont like the topic and he dont want the strategies
that the teacher use.
And this is my alternative instructional planning for the learner:
-Do a parent conference, to know the reason of being a passive
of the learner.
-Explain to him that all of the ideas and knowledge that his
teachers teach is for good and for all of them.
-Giving time for the entire students do not focus for only one.
-Make a remedial class, quizzes, Test for his to catch up.

Reflections
I have lot of experiences and learning about the students behavior. The physical arrangement
was somewhat cozy, the daily procedures and routines were done as scheduled. I as an observer keep a
running record of everything that happens during the instructional period to get an overview of the
lesson. The lesson was organized in a manner that the objective is presented to be perceived by the
students. The materials, method and procedure of the lesson plan were successfully executed. When
theres a problem that may arise in the classroom the teacher can easily resolved conflicts, as the teacher
uses kind words and dealing it with low tone voice. For the past few months of observation, we have
come up with a better understanding of the world we are trying to fit in.
When the time came that I need to say goodbye, I saw their face sad because I think they are
comfortable with me. Actually one of the students approached me to return back. The students behavior
and characteristics were different from each other because they came from different environmental and
families. No two learners are exactly the same.
Finally, this field study that is considered to be an enriching experience in developing and
utilizing the appropriate strategies to facilitate learning was a wonderful experience not just to be kept
as a memory to be remembered but it should be kept in the heart for further application in the future
and the knowledge that we have gained all throughout the study will be our stepping stone to a more
complex challenges that we will be facing in the next months and years to come.
