November 15, 2014 (Saturday)

NCAS Audi, UPLB
The Competition
The Noise: An Inter-Harmonya Small Group Competition aims to hone and ultimately showcase the artistic,
technical, and musical abilities of the members of Harmonya: the String Ensemble of UPLB. It will also
promote close relationships among the team members and will encourage them to work as a team, whether it
be in arranging or in playing. Excellent performances shall be awarded with corresponding prizes.
The Groups
Each group is composed of 6-7 members as assigned by the ArtisticBoard.
Each team shall adapt a name they want to be recognized with.
All groupings are final, and the addition of another groupmate (e.g. non-Harmonya members, or a
Harmonya member to play the percussion/ bass part) is prohibited. The same goes for the withdrawal
of a group member.
Rehearsals are to be scheduled within the group.
The use of Baker Hall for rehearsals shall be distributed evenly to the groups, depending on its
availability. A schedule will be posted regarding this.
