Quality Problems:

Nokia 7373

Weaknesses
Like skinny jeans or 6-inch heels, the flick design might look good but it's
not exactly practical. The screen can be pushed either right or left to flick it
open, but either way it's awkward to use and despite living with it for a week
we never really got used to it.

As a music phone, the 7373 is also missing a trick. The player works with
MP3 and AAC files, but it's not very easy to use. Selecting tracks is clunky
and you can only create a single playlist. At least if you get fed up of the
music player you can always switch to the FM radio, which has pretty good
reception.

Decline Reasons

 Rotation Problem

Conclusion
Nokia previous fashion phones were mostly a triumph of
style of substance, and while this handset rebalances the
scales somewhat, the end result is a still a pretty average
phone. With so many great style phones now on the market,
the 7373 struggles to make an impression

15
16

Nokia 7390

The Nokia 7390 is a compact & sophisticated 3G mobile phone which is a

member of the L'Amour Collection designed by Nokia. The mobile handset
comes in two colours which are bronze black & powder pink which both
have the L'Amour Collection motifs which enhance the sophisticated design.
The handset has a sleek fold opening mechanism & comes with dual
screens. The external screen provides 262k colours with a screen resolution
of 160 x 128 pixels which is a bright & clear viewing tool when the handset
is in the closed position. The larger internal screen will display up to 16
million colours on a bright QVGA screen & has a screen resolution of 240 x
320 pixels. The Nokia 7390 is a compact 3G broadband mobile phone which
measures 90 x 47 x 19 mm which is small considering the built in
capabilities. The 7390 weighs 115 grams with the fitted battery & comes
with 128 Mbytes of internal memory as well as a MicroSD™ memory slot
for memory expansion. The 3G handset comes with a rechargeable fitted
battery which will provide approximately two & a half hours worth of talk
time & up to two hundred & twenty hours of standby battery time
The phone comes with a built in digital music player complete with built in
3D effect stereo speakers. The music player can play music in MP3, AAC,

16
17

M4A, eAAC+ & AAC+ music formats which gives the user a great choice
of music on their portable mobile handset. The user can change their ringing
tones to suit their taste which can be heard in polyphonic, MIDI, MP3,
MPEG4, AAC, eAAC+, WMA & AMR voice. The phone supports video
ringing tones which allows the user to have a visual experience when their
phone rings. The mobile phone comes with a built in radio feature which is
an FM radio & allows the user to tune into a radio station when a change of
music & sound is needed. The user can tune into music shows, news
channels & gain information on travel & traffic reports using the built in FM
radio feature. The user can store voice recording on their handset & use the
voice dialling feature to create voice activated dialling which will make
calling their friends & colleagues a fast experience with a quick voice dial
command.

Nokia E62

28
29

The Nokia E62 is a quad band GSM world phone with EDGE
for data. It's a smart phone running Symbian OS 9.1 with
Nokia's S60 3rd Edition software. You can sync it to Outlook,
browse the web in full HTML glory, add 3rd party software,
listen to music using the included stereo headset and watch
videos. It has a brilliant 320 x 240 pixel color display,
QWERTY thumb keyboard and Bluetooth. It competes with
the Treo, Motorola Q, Cingular 8125 and BlackBerry devices.
It's much slimmer than the 8125 (though wider), slimmer
than the Treo and more fun and sexy than the BlackBerry
8700c and g. It's metal body and quality construction put
the BlackBerry 8700c to shame. Since the Nokia E62 targets
corporate users who are often forbidden to have camera
phones, the E62 has no camera.

Recommendations

43
44

 We recommend the Nokia mobiles to improve technology to

provide new features to customer.

 Nokia should have effective Research Team. Now a day their

research teams just do the paper working.

 Nokia should launch new models in little quantity, so that its

faults can be identified and removed. In simple words they
should launch Test Model before mass production.

 Nokia should provide new stylish phone to survive in the

market.

 They should work hard to produce light weight cell phones.

 Nokia has to improve its Sound Quality of mobiles.

 Nokia should not repeat the design and software of old

models.

 They should pay attention to the Sound Editions; otherwise

Sony Ericsson will swap the Market.

 They should provide sufficient margins to whole sellers.

 Nokia has to focus on the culture of Pakistan.

 Nokia has to take action against China Mobiles (Copy of

Nokia Mobiles).

Hypostasis Testing
(Independent variables)

44

Steps of Hypothesis
1) Hypostasis:

Ho =Nokia users are Satisfied by Mobiles.

Hi= Nokia users are not Satisfied by Mobiles.

2) Level of Significance:

α = 0.8 or 80%

3) Test Static’s:

4) Critical Regions:

t > t 1-α:v
Where v = n-1 = 4-1 = 3

t 0.8:3 = -0.978
So we will reject ho if t > -0.978

5) Calculations

Putting values:

By putting the value of standard deviation the
value of t comes 0.417
Hence 0.417 > -0.978

Result
So we reject ho & accept hi.
