Answer the following questions briefly.

1. If the government has the prime duty to serve and protect its citizens, in return, what is our
responsibility to the state?
Our responsibility to defend the security of the state in order to the safety of our selves
and other citizens of the state and to serve our governments for example by voting respectable
official who are the one to be the leader of our country.

2. Why is that the government recognizes the important role of the youth in nation building?
Because youth are one of the citizens in the state to serve and protect the government
and it shall be trained and motivated in any programs in order to have an active contribution to
the nation.

3. What do you think is the reason why female students are now required to take NSTP?
I think the reason why female students are now required to take NSTP because in order
to them to be properly trained, motivated and involved to the components of NSTP so that they
are now prepared to serve to the state.

4. Why are foreigners not required to take up NSTP/
Because only Filipino citizens are only required to take up NSTP not the foreigners.

Constitution are the laws or rules in agreement in which the power of supreme shall be followed
by the citizens of the states.
2. Who are the citizens of the Philippines?
a. Citizens of the Philippines in the time of adoption the this constitution;
b. The fathers and mothers are citizens of the Philippines;
c. Those who born before January 17, 1973, of Filipino mothers, who elect Philippine Citizenship
upon reaching the age of majority; and
d. Those who are naturalized in accordance with law
2A. If the Philippine Constitution mandates the bill of Rights of the Filipino people, what is also our
reciprocal obligation to the state?
If the Philippine Constitution mandates the Bill of Rights of the Filipino people, our reciprocal
obligation to the state are you have to be loyal to the Republic, you have to defend your state, you have
to contribute to the development and welfare of you state, you have to uphold the constitution and
obey the laws. you have to exercise rights responsibly and with due regard for the right of others, you
have to engage in gainful work and last you have to register and vote.
2B. What are the different citizenship values contained in the Preamble of the Philippine Constitution?
The different citizenship values contained in the Preamble of the Philippine Constitution are the
Faith in Almighty God, unity, patriotism, respect for life, respect for law and government, concern for
family and future generation, work, truth, justice freedom, love, equality, peace, promotion of the
common good, concern for the environment and order.

Yes! Because using po and opo and kissing the hands of parents are one of the signs
of respect trademark to the Filipinos.

4. Do you believe in the saying that kung ano ang puno ay siyang bunga. Explain.

Yes, I believe in that saying because whatever the attitude you show to your parents is
the attitude of your future child will show to you.

5. Explain, Values are caught and not taught.
It simply means that values are cannot be teach by a teacher or parents it can be catch
from the environment you belong or from the people surround you.

Crime is define as a prohibited act and punishable by law.
2. How can you be of help to minimize crime in your community?
I can help to minimize crime in our community by teaching my brother, sister, helper and
neighborhood not to give information to stranger and also to join the youths volunteer who campaign
drug addiction.

20. Do not hitchhike or accept rides from strangers. If a vehicle approaches and you are
threatened, turn and run in the opposite direction. The driver ill have to turn around to pursue
you. Make your screams loud and long.

Case:
Would you like to have a cellphone, but you cannot afford to buy one. A friend of yours is selling
stolen cellphone, which is very cheap. Are you going to buy it? If your answer is yes or no, briefly
explain why.

No! Because the cellphone is very cheap and it was stolen from other person.
