SUMMARY
I am a very enthusiastic woman who likes to communicate and meet with new people.
Magazine journalist is something I think I am suitable for due to how much experience I
have had with being a journalist. I enjoy this job role because I enjoy writing articles for
entertainment.

SKILLS
Languages: I speak 3 different languages which are English, French and Spanish but its
not as strong as the other two languages.
Writing skills: I am constantly writing new short stories and updating my blog with new
writing pieces.
Good research and investigating skills: I like to do research, I like to look more into the
situation and investigate it more and solve a mystery if needed.
Determination: once I want to do something or achieve something, I will have my mind
set and I will be determine to achieve what Im aiming for.
Strong interpersonal skills: these skills I use on a daily bases, which involves skills like,
verbal and non-verbal communication, listening skills, problem solving, decision making
and negotiation skills. These skills I dont just use at work, I also use them at home with
my family and friends.
IT skills: I reckon I am quite good with the software. I like using programs such as HTML,
Photoshop, PowerPoint, QuarkXPress and InDesign. Windows & Mac OS Platforms.
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Digital & 35mm Cameras.

Broadcast Journalist, BBC RADIO 4

I worked with a variety of different people including the public. I researched for new
stories to be announced on the radio 4. Before announcing or publishing these stories I
had to double check them and see if they are 100%. I had the responsibility of not
interfering with someones personal life and knowing when to stop the research in
case it gets out of hand. I developed my investigating and researching skills in this job

role.

Newspaper Journalist,
I had to research and write stories for regional and local press. These stories could
have been about anything such as news, politics, arts, culture, science, business or
even sport. I wrote about local events, entertainment in the surrounding areas and
festivals. Due to being a junior journalist I had to pass all my work to a news editor who
then passed it onto a sub-editor before it finally got published. I also accomplished to
be a photographer as well as a journalist. For every story I researched, I had
photographs to go with it.
