Tax Replication from SAP CRM to SAP ECC

Overview:
In the below scenario, I would replicating the tax data and its values from SAP CRM to SAP ECC, the wiki would explain the scenario in detail highlighting the configurations and the tables
involved in both SAP ECC and CRM.
Step1: Under the following customization node in ECC: Sales and Distribution- Basic Functions-Taxes- Define Tax Determination Rule.
Maintain the tax category for the respective country and its sequence as shown below.
Step 2: The above maintained entry will be seen in table TSTL in SAP ECC.

3: Next under the customization node in SAP ECC, Sales and Distributions-Basic Functions-Taxes-Define Tax Relevancy of Master Records- Customer Taxes. Maintain the
tax classification.
Step 4: The entry can be seen in the table TSKD in SAP ECC.

Step 5: The following configurations need to be performed in SAP CRM to match steps from 1 to 4 created in SAP ECC.
Customization node in SAP CRM, CRM- Basic Functions- Taxes- Basic Settings-Tax Types and Tax Groups- Ensure that the tax type and its sequence is maintained in the
same way as maintained SAP ECC.
Step 6: Click on the tax which you have defined and click on assign business partner tax groups.

In this step ensure that the same sequence of tax groups are maintained in SAP CRM, the tax group in SAP CRM is the tax classification in SAP ECC, complete the same for
all the tax tax types in SAP CRM which are the tax category in ECC as shown below.
Step 7: The entry for tax sequence would be visible in the SAP CRM table TB070
Step 8: The tax group configurations can be viewed in the CRM Table TB071

Step 9: Under the below node CRM-Basic Functions- Taxes- Basic Settings-Tax Types and Tax Groups-Assign Tax Groups to SAP ECC Tax Classifications(Business Partner)
Maintain the mapping to R3 Tax Classification. Ensure that the tax group and tax classification match as shown below.
Step 10: The entry for the above customization node is seen in CRM table CRMC_TAX_MAP_BP.

Step 11: Perform an initial load for the object DNL_CUST_TAX in tcode R3AS in SAP CRM (Ensure that RFC Connections are maintained before you run the object)
Step 12: Next under the customization node in SAP CRM, CRM-Basic Functions- Taxes- Basic Settings- Tax Types and Tax Groups- Check data transfer customizing
settings.
The report Business Partner Tax Customization need to be run for the relevant country and the entry should be in green.

Step 13: Next under the customization node in SAP ECC, Integration with other SAP Components-Customer Relationship Management-Basic Functions-Taxes-Business
Partner Tax Groups-Define SAP CRM Tax Types and Business Partner Tax GroupsMark the tax type as relevant to business partners.
Step 14: Assign the business partner tax groups

Step 15: The entry to the above customization can be seen in the table TB071_CM in SAP ECC
Step 16: Next under the customization node in SAP ECC, Integration with other SAP Components-Customer Relationship Management-Basic Functions-Taxes-Business
Partner Tax Groups- Assign SAP CRM BP Tax Groups to Tax Classification
Ensure that the tax group and tax classification match
Step 17: The table entry to the above node can be seen in the SAP ECC table TB072_CM

Step 18: Next under the below node in SAP ECC, Integration with other SAP Components-Customer Relationship Management-Basic Functions-Taxes-Business Partner Tax
Groups- Check SAP CRM Business Partner Tax Group Settings. The report when run for the relevant country should be in green.
Step 19: Once the above configurations are performed in SAP CRM and SAP ECC, tax values would flow from SAP CRM to SAP ECC, the tax type ID and tax group ID need to
be maintained under the tax classification assignment block

Step 20: The same would flow in SAP ECC in customer master sales area billing tab if RFC Connections have been maintained.
