What To Look For

FB Leadster finds 2 types of Facebook pages: the actual page created by the
business owner or Facebook auto-generated page based on users facts.

Auto-Generated Page

As this page is not created by the business owner then there's no way to
contact the business using this page. But, sometimes people suggest edits to
the page and you can find an email address or even better the website URL.
Go to the web site and check if they have a link to the right Facebook page.
Most likely there's an Facebook icon at the top, in the sidebar or in the footer.

Actual Facebook Page

This is what we are looking for. A working Timeline page without the cover
photo.
The screenshot shows the perfect potential customer Timeline page. After you
have found a similar page, it's time to contact the owner.

Contacting The Page Owner

There are several ways to contact the owner: direct message on Facebook,
phone, email or using the web contact form.

Direct Message
The Facebook Message button is the fastest way to contact the page owner,
but remember that lots of businesses are not active on Facebook and it can
take a longer time to get an reply.
The best tactic would be to send an message on Facebook and send an email
the next day.
Clicking the business name or the facebook page URL will open a new
window in your browser and load the Facebook Page. You will find the
"Message" button on the right side.

Clicking the button will redirect to the Messages page where you can send
your message.

Write your message inside the Message box and click the Send button.
You can also send a message directly from the software. Right-click the
business name and it will open a new window with the message box.
NOTE: Some businesses disable the Message button. If the Message button is
missing on the Timeline page then check other ways to contact the owner.

Email
There are two places to look for the email address.
The email column in FB Leadster if the email address is on the about
page. Clicking the email address will load your email client.

Look at the Facebook page. Under the profile photo you should find the
About link. Click it. The email address should be on the map or on the
right side under Basic Info.

Check the Web Site row in FB Leadster. If there is a website URL click it.
Look for the Contact or Contact Us page. If you can't find the email
address on their website look for the contact form.

Web Contact Form

Almost same as looking for the email address. First open the website of the
business. Look for the Contact or Contact Us page. You should see the
contact form.
Also look for all kind of Feedback widgets that are on the sides of a web site.

Phone
If there's a phone number provided on the Facebook page you should see it in
FB Leadster just right to the business name.

Prepare Yourself
Introduction
Before you start contacting the businesses make sure you have something
to tell about yourself. It doesn't have to be a 100-pages long life story. Couple
short sentences are enough for the start.
Open a new document and answer the following questions:
What is your name?
What is your business about?
What are your 2-3 best skills?
How long have you been doing it?
Don't worry if you don't have an answer for some questions. You will have the
answers after making couple clients happy.

Samples
Most likely you will be asked to show some sample work. There are
several options:
1) You don't have anything to show. Explain how useful a cover photo is and
show some popular Facebook Timeline pages like Coca Cola or Bacardi. You
can find the most popular pages here: https://www.facebook.com/pages
2) You don't have anything to show. If you outsource the work, ask the
designer for some sample work and show it to your client.
3) If you own some Timeline cover photo templates, select the 3 best looking
templates and show them to the client. Make sure that you say that these are
templates and the client will receive a unique cover photo.
4) I already have some covers in my portfolio. Great! Show it to the client.

The Facebook Trap

Trap #1
The software makes it very easy to find hundreds of potential clients within
minutes. The more contact you make the more business you will attract.
The most important tip: don't over-do it!
If you send too many messages from one account you risk to lose your
Facebook account. After couple tests we found out the following:
After the 88th message Facebook will log you out automatically and send an
SMS message with a code that you need to type after you log in again.
93rd message, Facebook closed the account, but after logging in again we
were asked to type a captcha and got the account reactivated again.
As there are several ways to contact the Facebook page owner we suggest
that you do not send more than 50 - 75 messages per day from one Facebook
account and IP.
You probably think that 50-75 messages per day (takes ~20 minutes) is not a
big number, but if you even get 3 clients per day you can make $291 per day
(~$6K per month , weekends not included) and I'm not talking about pitching
other services to happy customers.
After you have reached your daily limit just contact the rest of the leads using
email, web contact form or phone. If you don't get a response just send an
message on Facebook the next day (let the owner know that you already tried
to contact them).

Trap #2
Make sure you are talking to the owner of the business or somebody close to
it. One potential client sent us a reply and was very interested in our services.
The Skype account profile was empty. No info and no photo.
Later I found out that it was a consulting company already managing the
Facebook page.

Pricing
Our research shows that companies ask $30 - $99 for an single cover photo.
One media company even asks $499. The cheaper the price the worse the
cover photo design is.
The most popular price is $97 per single cover photo. If you get a reply that
$97 is too much you can offer a discount and push the price down to $67-$77.
The best what you can do is show $97 as a discounted price.
Tell the prospect that your usual price is $197, but you would like to offer a
discount at $97.
If you want to increase your profits you can add one single Timeline page
design to your offer and the price shoots up between $247-$297.
The best is to go for a single cover photo and after the customer is happy try
to pitch other services like Timeline page design, Facebook marketing,
coupons etc.

Outsourcing
The Work
If you don't want to do the covers yourself or don't have a designer to
outsource to then the only solution is to outsource the design.
The best way to increase your profit is to ask the designer for a bulk price. Tell
him that you would like to order the first cover for the full price and if
everything works out you will bring in more business, but would like to have a
bulk price.
Some will say no, but it's always worth asking.
To save you some time I found couple designers who do Facebook related
design.
http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors-hire/557139-facebook-covers.html
Price: $15.00
http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors-hire/502697-logo-design.html
Price: $19.00
http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors-hire/585277-facebook-timeline.html
Price: $50.00

The Process
Next what you can do is outsource the lead searching. The software is very
easy to use. It takes about 2 - 3 hours (for a slower person) to find the leads,
message and email them. You only need to provide the keywords, location
and the message template.
Let's say your VA is using the software 3 times a week for $5 per hour. That's
3x$10-$15 per week. So a total of $30 - $45 per week.
1 client per week and you still profit.
After you have outsourced that, now you only need to wait for emails,
Facebook messages and reply to them.
