Terms and Conditions

1.

Students are not required to attach supporting documents for their online application. Verification will be done at the time of enrolment or during interview.

2.

All applications are based on schools Form 5 / Year 11 mid-year exam results undertaken in 2014. Applicants will be assessed based on their results, ECA
involvements and where applicable, their performance at an interview.

3.

This scholarship is applicable for Jan 2015 intake only.

4.

Students actual SPM/IGCSE result must meet the minimum entry requirements of the programme, failing which the student will be required to withdraw or
enroll into other programme that he or she is qualified for.

5.

The actual SPM/IGCSE results of scholarship recipients must meet the minimum scholarship requirements of 5As (for Foundation/ ADP Programmes) or 1A
(for Diploma Programmes). In the event that a student fails to meet the minimum scholarship requirements, the University reserves the right to terminate the
Scholarship awarded & the student will be required to pay back 100% of the scholarship amount disbursed.

6.

The full Terms and Conditions of the scholarship will be made known to the successful applicants in a scholarship offer letter.

7.

Students receiving scholarships / financial assistance / bursaries from other bodies are not eligible for these scholarships.

8.

Students are entitled to only ONE of the following Scholarships, bursaries or any other financial assistance given by Taylors University. The highest
quantum will apply.

9.

Scholarship awarded may be transferred to any other programme offered at Taylors University but its subject to further assessment and availability of the
scholarship. Alternatively, students may apply for other scholarships offered by the University using their forecast / actual SPM/IGCSE results.

10. All scholarships awarded are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash.
11. The terms & conditions of the 2015 Dean's Award may be modified & amended from time to time as deemed appropriate by Taylors University.
12. For ADP & Diploma students, scholarship holders must achieve at least CGPA 3.0 at the end of each academic year; participate actively in the institutions
extra-curricular & other activities, in order to maintain their scholarship status.
13. Scholarship holders will be required to be part of the Scholars Development Programme, in order to continue maintaining their scholarship in the subsequent
semester.
14. In the event the student withdraws from the programme before completion, Taylors University requires the student to reimburse 100% of the tuition fee waiver
disbursed.
15. All applications must be received by the stipulated deadlines. Late applications will not be considered.
16. On all matters pertaining to the Scholarship, the decision(s) of the Bursary Committee of Taylor's University shall be final and binding.
17. Taylors University reserves the right to decide on the number of scholarships to be awarded.
18. The successful applicant is required to register for their chosen programme by 31 October 2014 and pay minimum RM650 (registration fee) upon registration,
failing which the scholarship offer will be considered null and void.
19. All scholarships are applicable for studies at Taylors University in Malaysia only and are not applicable for period of study at overseas partner universities.
