1 PREFACE
known as wya, wy or sing, sing, has come to be known as the PTI (Pakistan
Tehreek i Insaf) song. It is a song that has become indispensible for all jalsas (political
gatherings) of the party. The lyrics of the song are by the poet Masoom Hurmuz and
it has been sung by Musharaf Bangash; probably the tune is also by the singer. This
document gives the pashto text along with transliteration to facilitate pronounciation
by those who do not know Pashto. The Urdu and English translation have also been provided. The
song itself has been embedded within the document and can be played o the rst page.

Zanee che de khor krri pa orbal jorr gulaaley sha ta

If someone wishes to adorn you on the forehead, then become her jhoomar (ornament)
