Activity Description:
1. The learner wil participate in a survey/audit to determine how effectively they use
interactive technology in their classroom
2. The learner will be presented with a presentation that will provide guidelines for proper
implementation of interactive technology in the classroom.
3. The learner will interact with their peers and the presenters utilizing web discussion tools
and reflect on the information that they have learned during the presentation. (We use the
discussion tools to gather peer reflective information, questions like "Can you think of any
other innovative ways that interactive technology an be effectively utilized?" and 'Describe
one way that interactive technology can be applied to your field/ subject matter to enhance
the learning experience")*notes*
4. The learner will be presented with an opportunity to assess their knowledge of using
interactive tools effectively by taking a short assessment to gauge what they have learned.
(We can either create a short 5 question assessment that will determine if our peers have
"mastered" our workshop, or we can just describe this, Sterling says its not required that
we make an actual assessment but she wants to at least know HOW we plan to asses that
the learners have actually benefitted from our presentation.)
