176 When you save the tombstone with the same file name as a past tombst
one file, LinkView should ask you if you want to overwrite an existing file. Th
is fix was also made for writing an RFP file.
179 Monitor log needs to always write and open the log in the same direc
tory.
181 When the Synchonize Tabs key is unchecked, then do a read link, the
value is checked but the tabs are not synchronized.
187 At the end of a remote code download of embedded IDU or ODU, LV gave
a message saying that it could not read from the remote IDU. Then it crashed.
188 The menu item for download MSU/FPGA was not correctly enabled.
189 The monitor log does not actually stop at the time designated by the
user.
Known Problem (3/17/00)
On a 4x8x non-protected link (possibly also on other radios), after muti
ng then unmuting the local radio, all of the remote alarms did not clear. XPView
also has a problem with this, in that it also does not detect the remote radio
after unmute the local. Tim said we could release with this known limitation, s
ince we are not getting the necessary alarm event messages from the radio.

FYI: Fixes that do not involve LinkView, i.e. Radio, NMI, and documentat

195 Tributary Interface for an E3 IDU is incorrect. Says 1E3. Fixed by w
riting a routine to show the radio type in the format #tribsxRateFormat, e.g. 4x
E1, or DS3. This same routine was used to show this data in the header of the p
rint reports routine.
199 The remote SU E3 loopback is applicable to an E3 as well as
a DS3 whenever a remote SU is present. Corrected it and also
changed the nomenclature.
202 Problem Enabling / Disabling loopbacks and continuous AIS when
the downstream AIS insert is set at BER
204 On the DART, the TxPowerFail alarm does not go on when that alarm ev
ent is triggered.
205 In DeviceAttributes IDU, the IDU Type and Trib Interface fields were
switched. The fix involved making sure the right data was shown in each field.
Also, a wait cursor was added when this dialog loads.
206 In the E3 Trib Tab, the Data Input value was Inverted. This was cha
nged to be hardcoded to Normal, despite what is in the tombstone.
207 The MSU E1/DS1 to local AIS did not work on a DS3.
208 RF Loopback in XP4 diagnostics had two problems. One was that it tri
ed to write to the remote radio, and since that radio is muted or could be not c
onnected, an error message was displayed saying "Unable to write to radio." The
other problem was that the RF Loopback selection was not always available in th
e combo box.
209 Despite fixes to NMI code, there is still a problem with LinkView co
mmunicating with NMI. It fails to read from the NMI periodically, as well as ca
nnot write to NMI, as seen in a file config. The patch fix was to increase Link
View's timeout for NMI message failure. This does not fix it completely.
210 Remove user's ability to change TR Spacing in the DART RFP, because
of the problems it can cause.
211 - When exit the diagnostics dialog on XP4, even if the remote radio
is not connected, the LEDs on the remote alarm monitoring screen turn green, rat
her than gray.
Also, MSUPerf_t references were removed since this struct is not used and was re
moved from xpstruct.h and dm_mstr.h.

Bug Fixes
--------212 When a code download fails between the IDU and MSU for an embedded M
SU code download, the error messages tells the user to select cancel, but no can
cel button is on the dialog. Also, for switch embedded and FPGA download, the lo
cation of the memory region where the code will be placed in the flash is not ap
plicable.
213 When the SNMP tab is updated, LinkView does not show the changes. T
his occurs on DART and XP4; the tabs not on top whenever you do a read link may
have data not updated.
214 If the user does a code download from the floppy drive, then tries t
o view a monitor log file, the user will not be able to see the monitor log file
.

This release is solely to deliver the help files for DART and XP4 (lview
xp4.hlp, lviewxp4.cnt, lviewxp2.hlp, lviewxp2.cnt). The LinkView.exe did not ch
ange for this rc. The user's manuals were also delivered on the CD-ROM: DART.pd
f, lviewxp4.pdf.

--------SPR 1210 -- Change TXPower ATPC dialog to allow the user to enter the AT
PC Power limit, and to not enter the RSL maintenance level.
Fix Code Download progress so that if an incorrect build error code is d
etected then handle it and give the correct message to the user.
When displaying Switch parameters, if it is a DMC Nera emulator, then re
ad the members of the device id.

Fixes/Enhancements
--------SPR 1210 -- Refinements: If the user enables ATPC, it uses the RSL of th
e other radio for the maintained RSL, since the former value of that data item m
ay be uninitialized. It writes this to the radio and displays it to the user.
If the remote radio is not connected, it will not allow the user
to enable ATPC by graying out the control. But it will allow the user to disab
le ATPC.
If the user is enabling ATPC, and the remote RSL is Hi Uncal, Lo
Uncal or Unknown (-1), it warns the user that it is not recommended to enable A
TPC, but will allow the user to do it anyway if the user wants to.
Show only 1 place of precision for TxPower on the General Tab (X
P4 and DART)
Problem Fixed: When enable ATPC, TXPower would change in the dis
play from, for example, 6.0 to 6. The same was also happening to ATPC max powe
r limit.
Problem Fixed: When enable ATPC, the TxPower spin control should
become disabled so the user cannot change TXPower.
