critical understanding of urbanism and specifically communication technologies in cities and
public spaces. Supervising undergraduate students writing research-led dissertations.

Trend forecasting agency The Future Laboratory has called on me to provide expert
opinion on property developments and place-making projects. I draw on both my academic
and professional experience to advise on directions in urban planning, communities, retail
and culture, to inform the insights they provide for their clients.

London College of Communication, BA Spatial Communication
Wrote and delivered a lecture on the use of communication media in public spaces and as a
tool for community development as part of the critical context aspect of this course.

Commissioned to create map inspiring Londoners to walk instead of taking the tube and
track personal energy use using Nikes FuelBand project. Developed concept, planned and
recorded walking routes and oversaw team of cartographers & designers.

Argent, Kings Cross Filling Station | kxfs.co.uk
Kings Cross developers Argent commissioned a small team from restaurant Bistrotheque
and architects Carmody Groarke to develop a meanwhile use project for a defunct petrol
station as part of their place-making activities. Worked centrally to this team to develop the
design with the architects and lead the conception, delivery & promotion of a cultural

program. Created successful bids to corporate sponsors and mediated between local arts
organisations & artists to present engaging events and exhibitions free to the public. Wrote
and communicated press releases and oversaw and managed website and social media.

offering studio space & youth traineeships by repurposing a defunct council estate office

Participating in project co-organised by MSF and OpenStreetMap, using GIS skills to help
map vulnerable and disaster struck areas of the world to improve delivery of aid by
agencies working on the ground
Our New Cross | ournewcross.org
Founded a Neighbourhood Forum in New Cross, working towards a Neighbourhood Plan
guiding development in the area. Involves convening and facilitating public meetings,
designing and carrying out community consultation activities, researching and writing
planning policy and liaising with large local stakeholders.

With photographer Lucinda Chua undertook research in Detroit from an open studio
offering members of the public an opportunity to visit and share their. Culminated in an
exhibition at Cave Gallery and publication on Wallpaper magazine online.
