DOUBLE TEAMS
Work DBL teams as much as

possible!
Fit & Strike Players ; For example,

against a Nose the LG is the Fit Player

who must work to overtake, the C has
to STRIKE the Play side Shoulder and
Work to the Mike LB. LG must keep
eyes on Mike incase of a Switch.

Starts with the

Center, he has to
find the Ohio or
Zero. This sets the
line blocking
scheme.
This tells Guard they
are double teaming
to the Ohio.

With both Center and RGs eyes locked

on the MLB, they know they are
responsible for both defenders.

BOTH players must have

his eyes on the MLB, but
FEEL for the 3 Tech in case
of a slant, as shown above,
the Center has to pick him
up. The RG FEELS him go
away and now works to the
MLB, who his eyes are
already on.

Switch
Pull/Trap
Throw elbow, open chest direction of pull, Snap Eyes onto Target,

Hall Ass down the line, ready for potential Trap Block if Target is
Blitzing.
Bucket Crossover

Wall
Engage Defender, Swing Ass to Play side, Use hands, Keep feet

moving, Wide Base, slide with Defender.

Attitude, Set the Tone

Deliver DL into the ILB
Both players feel first
level and see second
level
Each takes half a man
aiming for the number
Strike and drive, one will
come off one will stay on,
or both will stay on

Rules: FEEL the DLinemen;

SEE the LBs; DONT chase
Linebackers

We get our EYES UP and teach OL to be

able to work an inside threat. We teach
patience in this drill.

You must work against

twists, slants, and loops!
