A shocker

Keil Krumwiede went high over Conrads Bert Paulsen for this touchdown catch from Jason
Thibault that would tie the game at 26-all with 5:23 left in the ball game. Cache Younkin
kicked the extra-point attempt that would give the Scotties a short-lived 27-26 lead.

With 5:23 left in the

fourth quarter, Scotty
football fans erupted, the
Elks Cannon barked and
horns blared as Glasgow
finally had the lead over
Conrad for the first time
in the quarterfinal game of
the Class B Playoffs.
Now all the Scotties
had to do was to contain
the Cowboys.

It didnt happen.
With 11.1 ticks left
on the clock, Conrads
quarterback Shane Larson
plunged into the end zone
from three yards out,
leaving 7.1 seconds left on
the clock and the Scotties
praying for a miracle, and
that didnt happen either.
The 10th ranked
Cowboys had come back
to Glasgow after losing
34-12 here on October
24th and left with a 32-27
victory to advance to the
Class B semifinals: a very
sad ending to a Saturday
afternoon for a packed
Scotty crowd, and an elated
afternoon for the Cowboy
fans making the trip.

Scotty netters out in two

Twas a sad weekend for Scotty sports all the way as
around as the Scotty volleyball team was in Choteau where
they would get bumped out of the Northern B Divisional
Tourney. The host Bulldogs beat them on Thursday and 2B
rival Plentywood ousted them on Friday morning.
