Description
DCTools 1.12.14 is an update of DCTools to provide support for additional versions of SC200 software up to
version 4.23.

Installation procedure
Note: Administration rights are required to install DCTools and install the USB driver as below.

Please note that the process for establishing USB connection has changed as below.
Install DCTools
1. Download the DCTools installer file (DCTools-1.12.14-Installer.exe).
2. Double click on this file and follow the instructions to install DCTools.
Load USB drivers
1. To connect to an SC200 using USB:
2. Connect the SC200 to a USB port
3. The message Installing driver software should appear.
4. The PC will search for windows drivers, and then search locally.
5. Once the driver is found, the driver software will be installed.
6. The message Ready to use will appear.
7. Unplug the USB connection and reconnect. DCTools will then connect to the SC200 and run.
Notes:
1. This procedure is repeated each time you use a different USB port.
2. If the driver is not installed correctly, try a different USB port.

Automatic update notification

DCTools can automatically check for updates and download the update for the user.
This feature requires access to the web.

To check for updates:

Option A.
1. Open DCTools Connection List.
2. If an update is available, it will be shown here.

3. Click on Update Available.

4. The update will be downloaded.
5. Click on Update Ready to install the update.

Option B
1. Open DCTools Connection List.
2. Select Help > Check for Updates.

4. After the update has been downloaded, click Install.
