6. Short summary (What is the author trying to say, interpretation of the

content and your reaction towards it)
Rhythm of Love is a song, performed by german hard rock band Scorpions. It is
written by band's lead singer Klaus Meine and guitarist Rudolf Schenker.
The song is about finding something special, finding something that will connect
the couple in a way that has never connected them before. It is also probably
talking about sex - ''Lets spend the night together, I know you want it, too.'' The
whole song is actually about finding something more, something that will put the
couple in some higher place in their relationship. Something that will spice up their
rutine.
In the chorus, the author is saying that the rhythm of love is what keeps him going
on. Love is the thing he is seeking for, it is something that he values the most. In
the lines before and between the chorus, I think that the author is mainly singing
about sexual intercourse and how he will show his girl the top of their love. Song
itself does not have any deeper meaning.
7. Focus on language and list of problems
Transcribing this song was not so difficult, although you can notice that the singer
is not native English speaker considering the way he sings some words. He sings
them correctly, but in my opinion you can still notice a different accent.
The language overall is not difficult, it is quite easy to understand.
There are some informal words, e.g. groove which is a musical slang, meaning that
if someone has groove, he is feeling and enjoying the music.
Emotions are directly expressed towards the object or the listeners, there are some
metaphors, for example ''I've got the groove that hits the bone''. This does not
actually mean that his groove literally hits the bone. It means that his music feels
really good and has a large effect on people listening to him.
The song is full of suggestions, for example ''Spend the night together ...'', ''Let's
find together ...'', ''Let's reach the top together ...'', and statements, for example
''The rhythm of love keeps me dancing on the road.'', ''I've got the groove that hits
the bone.''

The author is personally involved in the message, because he is singing in the first
person and he is adressing the girl he likes or probably loves, e.g. ''Magic of the
moment is what I've got for you'' and ''I'll make you feel the taste of life, until your
love will flow''
Although the vocabulary is quite simple, it was hard to understand some words.For
example, the word bone in the chorus was really difficult to understand and I got it
after fourth listening. There is also an unit There's in the first part of the song, that
I could understand after fourth listening and I really had to focus to hear what he
sings.
8. What have I learnt
I haven't learnt any new vocabulary from this song, because as I had said before,
the vocabulary is simple and understandable. The thing that I have learnt, is that
transcribing a song is not easy. In my opinion, even if you had picked a song with
very simple vocabulary, you would have listened to it at least twice, because there
are always some noises or voices in the background which make it harder to get the
words right.
