Focus on Cancer
Mary-Ann Shearer
Mary-Ann is the best-selling author of The Natural Way
series of books and co-owner of The Natural Way Network.
She has spent the last 30 years researching and living healthy living. The results no doctors bills due to ill health for nearly
30 years for herself and her family.
Cancer is a state of cellular growth, which occurs when normal cells become abnormal and continue to grow abnormally
without apparent control, and in the process destroy healthy tissue and organs. Cancer kills more people in developed
countries than in developing countries. The latest stats are one in two males and one in three females will get cancer. Cancer
appears to have overtaken all other diseases, other than heart disease, although they appear to now be at the same level.
Cancer is a disease of so-called civilised nations, and is practically unknown among primitive people eating natural,
unprocessed foods.
Salt
A powerful irritant and strong inhibitor of
enzymes, salt has been observed to increase
the rate of cancer growth.
Insufficient antioxidants
You do not need to be taking any supplements,
as even fruit and vegetables grown in
so-called depleted soils contain enough of
these nutrients you just need to make sure
youre eating enough.
Remember that the country in which
people take the most supplements, the
USA, has the highest rates of cancer, heart
disease and diabetes, so clearly supplements do not help. We should be eating at
least five to 11 portions of fresh fruit and
vegetables daily. Antioxidants are highest in
fresh plant food, and they destroy free
radicals from processed, refined, fried and
high protein diets.
Remember that there are dozens, if not
hundreds of unknown phytonutrients that
have still to be discovered; also that fresh
fruit and vegetables are always alkalineforming in the body and it is this alkalinity
that also contributes to protecting the body
against cancer cell growth.
Heated fats
Fats heated above 160 C have been shown
to be highly carcinogenic, whereas natural
plant fats actually help strengthen the
immune system and should be eaten regularly.
Smoking
Inhaled cigarette smoke contains many
powerful carcinogens such as acrolein,
carbon monoxide, nicotine, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, nitrous oxide, formaldehyde,
methanol, arsenic, among others.
An acid-forming diet
A diet that is predominantly acid-forming
puts tremendous strain on the immune
system. The ideal pH of the body is 7.357.45;
when the pH drops just marginally below this,
cancer cells multiply rapidly. A typical diet in
the developed world is anything from
70100% acid-forming, when it should be no
more than 2025% acid-forming to maintain
this pH balance to prevent this positive
environment for cancer.
Focus on Cancer
Inflammation
Barts and the London School of Medicine and
Dentistry, September 2012:
Dr Toby Lawrence trained with Michael Karin
in San Diego, where he used molecular
genetics to study the role of cell signalling
pathways in the regulation of inflammation and
immunity. These studies focused on the role of
IkappaB kinase (IKK) in the biology of
inflammation, using tissue-specific gene
targeting to establish the specific role of IKK in
the inflammatory response. The major research
focus of the group was to understand the
fundamental mechanisms by which inflammation promotes cancer, with particular reference
to the role of stromal and inflammatory cells in
carcinogenesis.
This research indicates that inflammation
plays a big role in cancer formation. The China
Study showed that cancer is promoted by
animal protein and all animal protein contains
arachidonic acid, a fatty acid that promotes
inflammation. It is not surprising then that high
protein diets promote cancer.
Cooking pots
Non-stick and aluminium cookware are known
to give off the most toxic of all chemicals, but
what is not known is that stainless steel, glass,
enamel and cast-iron cookware can be equally
toxic to the body. Stainless steel gives off nickel
and chrome when food is cooked, glass and
enamel lead, cadmium and boron. Stainless
steel needs to be 316 and combined with
titanium to be completely non-reactive. It is
considered to be the only safe cookware.
Microwaves also produce carcinogenic
compounds in foods, and 95% of nutrients are
destroyed in microwaved foods. Waterless,
fat-free cooking is ideal or else live on raw
food.
For a more detailed review of cooking pots,
please refer to the article in this magazine, The
natural kitchen.
Fasting
I personally see no sound reason to fast a
person who has cancer, as the body is so run
down that it cannot cope with the fast. I have
seen many people deteriorate rapidly when
fasting for cancer. Although for other diseases
such as heart disease fasting can be very

Allopathic treatment
Allopathic treatment consists of three main
methods:
Surgery, usually for tumours
Radiation therapy
Drug therapy chemotherapy
Sometimes one or two or all three
treatments are employed together. All three
can have severe side effects. Radiation and
chemotherapy work on the principle of
destroying cancer cells, but in the process
also destroy good, healthy cells. Possible
side effects are cellular death, unusual
cellular forms, cells that are incapable of
dividing, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, skin
rash, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, even bleeding cystitis, leucopoenia or reduction in the
white blood cell count, anaemia, pulmonary
fibrosis, renal failure, chills, fever, hyperpigmentation, anorexia, pharyngitis, etc.
To quote from The Merck Manual, a hand
book most doctors use:
Radiotherapy The effects of ionising
radiation are random: cellular death,
unusual aberrant cellular forms,
functional cells incapable of division or
functional cells that are unaltered.
Chemotherapy compounds similar
to mustard gas attach electron rich
regions of molecules This disruption of
cellular metabolism leads to cellular
death Toxicities include nausea,
vomiting, alopecia, haemorrhagic cystitis,
leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, anaemia,
pulmonary fibrosis and an increased risk
of acute no lymphatic leukaemia also
skin rash, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis and
cerebella ataxia.
Go online to see the movie Cut, Poison, Burn
(reviewed in this magazine) for viewpoints
from doctors and patients.
Some people choose to do the raw diet and
use the allopathic treatments above. I have
seen some that recover doing this, but often
the cancer returns, because damage is done
to the body; whereas the success rate on the
raw diet appears to be higher. I have seen
dozens in complete remission for five years
and then totally cured with the right diet. I
have also seen cancer return within a year or
two when people revert to their old diet.
There a re a va riety of
so-called cures availa ble

Aluminium cookware
There have been over 100 studies about
aluminium and disease. This metal has
consistently been placed in the top 200
health-jeopardising toxins by the ATSDR
(Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease
Registry) at the US Department of Health and
Human Services. Aluminium pots are
prohibited in many European countries like
Germany, France and Switzerland to name
but a few and in some South American
countries like Brazil.
I realise that many improvements have
been made in aluminium pots and pans with
the advent of anodised aluminium (in which
a thicker aluminium oxide layer is created on
the surface of the pan). Yet, I still recommend
avoidance of aluminium cookware due to the
potential toxicity of aluminium itself. (This
focus on the health aspects of aluminium
cookware does not even take into account
environmental problems related to the
mining and dressing of aluminium.)
Scientists have found abnormally high
amounts of aluminium, zinc and other metals
in the brain tissue of people with Alzheimers.
Many of the symptoms of aluminium toxicity
mimic those of Alzheimers disease and
osteoporosis. Colic, rickets, gastrointestinal

Non-stick cookware
The non-stick coating industry started out
with Teflon in 1946 but has since grown to
include many other coatings including
Silverstone, Tefal, Anolon, Circulon, Caphalon
and others. Products like Caphalon actually
combine aluminium with non-stick materials
by subjecting anodised aluminium to a
polymer infusion process. These substances
emit toxic gases and particles that can result
in severe lung damage and death in birds
(so keep your parrot out of the kitchen
better still get rid of the pans) and can result
in flu-like symptoms such as sore throat, fever,
chills, shortness of breath, tightness of chest,
tiredness, headache and cough.
This is the most popular cookware and also
the most controversial. According to the
Environmental Working Group non-stick
coatings can reach 700 degrees Fahrenheit in
as little as 35 minutes, releasing 15 toxic
gases and chemicals, including two carcinogens. At high heat the fluoropolymers used
in non-stick finishes release various toxic
substances and at least one greenhouse
gas. The greatest concerns surround
perfluorooctanic acid (PFOA), a substance
that persists in the environment and
widespread use of which has made it
detectable in the blood of almost all
Americans, adults and new-borns alike. PFOA
is considered a carcinogen and is associated
with raised levels of cholesterol and birth
defects. It is known to cause testicular, pancreatic, mammary and liver tumours in rats,
and workers exposed to PFOA have increased
risk for cancers of the pancreas and the male
reproductive tract.
Copper cookware
Copper pots look lovely hanging above the
stove and work wonders on the stovetop.
Cast-iron cookware
Cast iron is known for its durability and even
heat distribution. Unglazed cast iron can
transfer notable amounts of iron into food.
These cookware products are the most
porous of all metals, and oil can turn rancid in
the pores. Some people believe that they can
get iron from a cast-iron pot. The reality is that
iron comes in a ferrous and a ferric form. Your
body cannot assimilate the iron (ferric) from a
cast-iron pan; it needs iron from a natural raw
source such as fresh fruit and vegetables.
Excessive iron from non-plant sources is toxic
to humans, because excess iron reacts with
peroxides in the body, producing free radicals.
Iron becomes toxic when it exceeds the
amount of transferrin needed to bind free
iron. In excess, uncontrollable quantities of
free radicals are produced.
Excess iron accumulates in organs such as
the heart, liver, joints, pancreas and pituitary
gland. If untreated, this accumulation can
cause organ damage, and diseases such as
heart disease, diabetes, cirrhosis of the liver,
liver cancer, arthritis, and depression, chronic
fatigue (the most common symptom), joint
pain/arthritis, loss of sex drive, impotence or
early menopause, irregular heartbeat or heart
problems, abdominal pain, weight loss,
change in skin colour (i.e. jaundice, reddish or
grey) and elevated blood sugar.
People with iron overloads are often
misdiagnosed as having other disorders,
including arthritis, diabetes, heart problems,
liver/gallbladder disease, or various stomach
disorders.
Plastic
Plastic simply shouldnt be an option, although
many people use it in microwaving. Both plastic
and microwaving are considered toxic to the
human body. Xenoestrogens and other toxic
substances can be released into the food.
Silicone
Silicone is chemically produced by creating a
backbone of silicone from common sand
and oxygen molecules, a combination that
does not occur in nature. Then various other
synthetic molecules are added to this core
backbone to create different silicones that
range from liquids to rubbery solids
resulting in a huge variety of completely
man-made products.
Some of the chemicals used are: methylene
chloride (aka dichloromethan), which breaks
down in the body so blood cannot carry
17
Microwaves
In the Journal of Science of Food and
Agriculture, Cristina Garcia-Viguera reports on
a study that measured antioxidant levels in
broccoli after it was cooked in various ways.
Microwaved broccoli had the lowest levels of
antioxidants (less than 5% of the original antioxidants found in fresh broccoli remained),
probably because of the high internal temperatures generated by this cooking method.
Boiling wasnt a good way to retain antioxidants
either, with only about 20% of them preserved
in the food (about 35% if the cooking water was
used as well). Pressure-cooking was slightly
better, with about 46% being retained in the
food (about 91% if the cooking water was used
as well). Steaming retained about 89% of the
antioxidants. Of course, you could just eat your
broccoli raw and get the full dose.
The best quality stainless steel titanium
(316 Ti) pots maintain up to 94% of the
nutrients in broccoli and can save you up to
90% of the energy costs. This is great news as
people find they eat less, and their electricity
and gas costs go down considerably. And this
helps recover the cost of the pots as they are
expensive.

Recommended cookware
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is an alloy (or combination) of
metals, including steel, carbon, nickel and
chromium. Stainless steel is called stainless
because it can resist corrosion. Most stainless
steel cookware sold in stores is made from the
304 alloy. Because of the softness of this grade
of metal, when heated, it expands and the
food sticks to the pan. You are then forced to
cook with oil and the pan becomes difficult
to clean.
Stainless steel readily reacts with organic
acids, particularly at cooking temperatures;
iron, chromium, and nickel are released from
the material into the food. Nickel is implicated
in numerous health problems, notably allergic
contact dermatitis, and it is considered a
carcinogen. Home cookware was examined
by atomic absorption spectroscopy: seven
different stainless utensils as well as cast iron,
mild steel, aluminium and enamelled steel.
The materials were exposed to mildly acidic
conditions at boiling temperature. Nickel was
a major corrosion product from stainless steel
utensils; chromium and iron were also
detected.

Focus on Cancer
Nutrition scientists have shown over and over that people who eat more natural plant foods vegetables, fruits, legumes,
nuts and seeds, etc. are less likely to be diagnosed with cancer. But are all vegetables equally protective? To win the war
on cancer, we must design an anti-cancer diet, which focuses on the foods with the most powerful anti-cancer eects
then we could eat plenty of these foods each day, flooding our bodies with the protective substances contained within
them.
Observational studies
Observational studies have shown that eating
ITC-rich cruciferous vegetables protects
against cancer here are a few examples:
Twenty-eight servings of vegetables per
week decreased prostate cancer risk by
33%, but just three servings of cruciferous
vegetables per week decreased prostate
cancer risk by 41%.
One or more servings of cabbage per
week reduced the risk of pancreatic cancer
by 38%.
One serving per day of cruciferous vegetables reduced the risk of breast cancer
by over 50%.
22
A profound level of
protection against cancer
Within an overall nutrient-dense eating style,
cruciferous vegetables can provide us with a
profound level of protection against cancer.
Dont forget: chopping, chewing, blending, or
juicing cruciferous vegetables is necessary to
produce the anti-cancer ITCs. To learn more
about reducing your risk of cancer, read
Dr Furhmans book called Super Immunity.
Cruciferous vegetables

Dr Fuhrman writes, As I describe in my book
Super Immunity, G-BOMBS (Greens, Beans,
Onions, Mushrooms, Berries and Seeds) are
the foods with the most powerful immuneboosting and anti-cancer effects. These foods
help to prevent the cancerous transformation
of normal cells, and keep the body armed and
ready to attack any pre-cancerous or cancerous cells that may arise.
G Greens
Green vegetables (the cruciferous family in
particular) contain compounds with anticancer compounds and substances that
protect blood vessels; they also promote
healthy vision and reduce diabetes risk.
Cruciferous vegetable phytochemicals inhibit
a wide range of cancer-promoting cellular
processes, including angiogenesis; the angiogenesis inhibitors found in cruciferous
vegetables prevent new blood vessel growth,
which is needed for tumour growth and fat
tissue growth. Eating cruciferous vegetables
regularly is associated with decreased risk of
breast cancer and has even been shown to
increase survival in women after being
diagnosed with breast cancer.
Focus on Cancer
B Beans
Beans are unique foods because of their very
high levels of fibre and resistant starch
carbohydrates that are not broken down by
digestive enzymes. The fibre and resistant
starch in beans reduce the number of calories
absorbed from beans, reduce cholesterol
levels, and are converted by healthy gut
bacteria into many substances that protect
against colon cancer. Eating fibre-rich beans
regularly dramatically lowers colon cancer
risk, and a recent analysis of ten scientific studies
has shown that the higher your fibre intake, the
lower your risk of breast cancer.
o onions
Onions, leeks, garlic, shallots, chives and
scallions not only lend great flavour to meals,
they have beneficial effects on the cardiovascular and immune systems, as well as
anti-diabetic and anti-cancer effects. These vegetables are known for their characteristic (and
eye-irritating) organosulfur compounds, which
slow tumour growth and kill cancer cells
eating onions and garlic frequently is
associated with reduced risk of digestive
cancers. These vegetables also contain high
concentrations of anti-inflammatory flavonoid
antioxidants that contribute to their anti-cancer
properties.
M Mushrooms
In one recent Chinese study, women who ate
at least 10 grams of fresh mushrooms each
day (which equates to about one button
mushroom per day) had a 64% decreased risk
of breast cancer! All types of mushrooms have
anti-cancer properties. Plus, mushrooms are
unique in that they contain aromatase
inhibitors compounds that can block the
production of oestrogen. Aromatase
inhibitors are thought to be largely
responsible for the preventive effects of
mushrooms against breast cancer. Even the
most commonly eaten mushrooms (white,
cremini, and Portobello) have high antiaromatase activity. Mushrooms also contain
powerful angiogenesis inhibitors. Keep in mind
that mushrooms should only be eaten cooked:
several raw culinary mushrooms contain a
potentially carcinogenic substance called
agaritine, and cooking mushrooms significantly
reduces their agaritine content.
B Berries (and pomegranate)
Berries plentiful antioxidant content helps to
reduce blood pressure and inflammation,
prevents DNA damage that leads to cancer,
protects the brain against oxidative damage
and stimulates the bodys own antioxidant
enzymes. Berries and pomegranate are
anti-angiogenic foods, and have antiinflammatory effects that may protect against
cancer and other chronic diseases. Pomegranate (similar to mushrooms) is one of the
few foods that contain natural aromatase
inhibitors substances that inhibit the
production of oestrogen, which can
reduce breast cancer risk.
S Seeds
Nuts and seeds are healthy fat sources that increase the absorption of nutrients in
vegetables in addition to supplying their own
spectrum of micronutrients including plant
sterols (which help to reduce cholesterol),
minerals and antioxidants. Some seeds
sesame and flax in particular are rich in lignans, plant oestrogens that protect against
breast cancer. In one fascinating study,
women were given flaxseeds daily after being
diagnosed with breast cancer, and reduced
growth and increased death of their tumour
cells was found after just 45 weeks.

Focus on Cancer
I was recently asked to comment on the vaccination of young girls against cervical cancer in South Africa for a television
programme.
The very bad news is that the prices are prohibitive, at between R500 and R750 a dose, and
you need three doses to be covered, he said.
Since the vaccine only works fully if
administered before girls become sexually
active, it would be given to 9- and 10-year-old
girls.
However, the roll-out would start only in
quintile one (the poorest), two, three and four
schools, covering around 520 000 girls. The
wealthiest (quintile five) schools are not
included.
26
Why not?
Efficacy
Both Gardasil and Cervarix have been shown
to prevent cervical dysplasia from the high-risk
HPV types 16 and 18 and some protection
against a few closely related high-risk HPV
types. However, there are other high-risk HPV
types that are not affected by the vaccines. The
protection against HPV-16 and 18 has lasted
five years after vaccination for Gardasil1 and
more than six years for Cervarix. It is thought
that booster vaccines will not be necessary.

Cancer of the cervix also needs to be understood in the context of the HIV epidemic. In
2007, it was estimated that 33 million adults
and children were infected with HIV globally,
of whom 22 million (67%) were living in subSaharan Africa, where 75% of the worlds HIVrelated deaths were recorded. While the
expected increase in cervical cancer (which is
considered an AIDS-defining illness by the
Centers for Disease Control, USA) has not
materialised in Africa, as more and more
women infected with HIV survive due to
access to and use of antiretroviral therapy,
cervical cancer incidence is likely to be
increased by the HIV epidemic.

REVIEWS
In each issue we review films and books relating to your health. Our aim is to
expose you to the many life-changing and ground-breaking movies and
books out there that will help you live a balanced, natural life. Many of these
books and movies are available online to download and/or purchase.
wanted to review Dr Colin Campbells latest book Whole as it has just been
released and his book The China Study has been around since 2005. The problem
is, The China Study is the ONE book that is, in my opinion, the most essential book
anyone can read, from doctors and specialists to lay people, on cancer and diet.
The blurb reads, The science is clear. The results are unmistakable. Change your
diet and dramatically reduce your risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
I know there are many people who have still not read The China Study so I have
chosen to review it in our first issue, as it is possibly the most life-changing book
you will ever read on nutrition and your health.
The cover says, The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and
it simply is. I have been studying natural health and nutrition for over 30 years and
in all that time, having read hundreds of books on the subject, I have never yet found
a book that is so scientifically based, yet so readable and comprehensive that it
leaves nothing to chance. Dr Campbell is probably the most humble academic I have ever met. He has been at his studies and
research for over 50 years and genuinely knows his subject backwards. Yet his approach to his research is very simple. He has the
ability to stand back and not only ask uncomfortable questions, but be prepared to live with the uncomfortable answers.
This is a book you must never lend to anyone; it is simply too valuable and you can never stop learning from it. It contains just too
much to take in the first or even second time you read it.
He tackles the issue of carcinogenic chemicals in our food for example, in such surprising way. For instance he says, But what if
researchers produced considerably more impressive scientific results that were far more substantial? What if there was a chemical
that experimentally turned cancer on in 100% of the test animals and its relative absence limited cancer to 0% of the animals.
Finding such a chemical would be the Holy Grail of cancer research. The implications would be enormous. This is exactly what I
saw in the Philippines. The chemical was protein, Protein! The results were more than startling.
He maintains that carcinogens simply load the gun and that excess animal protein, above 5% of the daily calorie value, is what
pulls the trigger.
Needless to say, the book and the research is not what some people want to hear and this I believe is the main reason this book
has some critics. People would rather place the responsibility of their disease on some unknown mysterious thing, not on the food
they were raised on. That makes it just too uncomfortable. They would rather put their faith in the latest drug or supplement than
in personal responsibility.
Dr Campbells allies are too numerous to ignore. You can read what fellow scientists and medics have to say about his work. Read
the book, go to the T.ColinCampbell.org website; this man sells nothing, he has no commercial interests in what he writes about;
and that in my opinion is just one reason to trust this profound work.

Focus on Cancer
How often these days do you read that genes cause cancer? Probably nothing in biomedical science deserves more attention.
In my view, it even needs attention in nutrition newsletters. Why? Because theres a peculiar line of reasoning doing the
rounds that goes something like this: If genes are primarily responsible for determining when and what kinds of cancer we
get, then what dierence does it make what we eat? Essentially, this is a very fatalistic view. Further, if this notion about
genes is accepted as being valid, then many may be tempted to simply trade in bad genes for good genes. Regrettably,
this is an idea that is very much alive in science and kicking up considerable funding support. Rather than succumbing
fatalistically to gene research reports or trading our genes haphazardly, lets start to think more seriously about preventing
cancer, quite literally, by getting at its root.

Probabilities vs realities
What this conclusion says, basically, is that
genes do not matter, at least for any
significant proportion of cancers. To be
specific, the probability of both identical twins
getting cancer was only 1.4 times that for both
non-identical twins getting cancer, a result of
only borderline statistical significance.

Genetic deceptions
In conclusion, even though I had often
thought that genes might account for a small
proportion of human cancers, I am surprised
by this finding showing that genes appear to
contribute little or nothing to cancer risk. I
would have thought that we might have seen
in this study at least a small genetic effect. The
subjects in this study were men who, in all
likelihood, consumed a typical American diet.

Vegetable gardening has already become a fashionable pastime. The beauty of a veggie garden is that it can be done on
a shoe-string budget in pots on your patio, or as a traditional garden in the ground. Whether formal or
informal, a veggie garden is a huge asset to the family, specifically in terms of providing a constant supply of healthy,
organic, fresh veggies for the family. In our business we are seeing a sharp increase in the number of people who are starting
veggie gardens, and this article answers some of the most commonly asked questions that we receive on a daily basis.

In the Kitchen
Pomegranate juice and seeds have the highest levels of antioxidants of all
foods.
Studies have shown that the intake of coconut oil can help our bodies build
resistance to both viruses and bacteria that can cause illness. Even more, it
also can help to fight off yeast, fungus and Candida.
Mangosteen fruit contains a variety of phytonutrients, including cathechins,
proanthocyanidins and polysaccharides, that promote healthy metabolism
and digestion, support the immune system and serve as strong antioxidants.
However, unique to mangosteens is the presence of a new class of
phytonutrients known as xanthones, another potent antioxidant. Found in
the rind of the fruit, xanthones may be beneficial in combating several health
maladies due to their anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antifungal
and antiviral properties. It is available in South Africa as bottled juice. Look for
a brand that contains no refined sugar or manufactured preservatives.

Samantha Crane
Cancer survivor
My name is Samantha Crane and I am 41 years old. I have
been blessed with a loving husband Colin, and two amazing
children Keagan 13 and Kelby 10. For the last 22 years I have
been the epitome of health but it was not always so.
At 18, just finished matric, I had the world at my feet (or so I
thought) only to be diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma.
What a shock it is to be told you have cancer. This is how my
journey began. I decided to make a fresh start so I hit the
reset button and began on the road to health and wellness.
I pride myself in being a cancer survivor and I believe I
beat the odds due to a change in diet and lifestyle. I am
passionate about nutrition, fitness, people and health and
most importantly, a relationship with God who teaches us
how to enjoy life to its fullest.
The Natural Way and Aim products became the most important
part of my nutritional life. I have a good standing relationship
with the companies and Im proud to say Im associated with
them as I admire their ethos and morals. Being a cancer survivor,
the most important thing is that the lifestyle has to be good for
me and the Natural Way and Aim meet my every need. They
support my immune system which is first prize to me.
On my journey I learned that a healthy lifestyle is a way of life,
its not a diet. I have been absolutely sold on this way of eating
and products and have continued eating this way throughout
my life, and it shows. People ask me why my children never get
sick and why they do so well academically, on the sports field
and culturally. People comment that we look so young and I tell
them that we eat a clean, whole-food diet, which helps us have
a balanced lifestyle with all its benefits.
I am a natural health consultant and have been in the game for
the last 22 years. My focus is on sharing knowledge and God
has given me a unique ability to be able to accomplish this.
Prevention is better than cure so I educate people about health
and fitness during consults and whoever I talk to on a daily basis.
Concerns for most people are the complexity and trends in the
health industry what is in today is out tomorrow. So where do
you start? What must you do and how do you do it?
Just keep it simple. Change your habits today and sit back and
watch the changes that occur on the road to being the person
you always wanted to be. Change your health, and change your
life forever. I did and have never looked back!
