2. Bhaarat Inspection Services as a Quality control engineer (Ref no:BIS/QC/0091/2008)
from May 2007 to June 2009.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Radiographic Film Interpretation of welds and evaluating it as per code and standard.
2. Welder qualification as per code, Uultrasonic testing operator qualification.
3. Checking the raw materials as per TDC and attestation requirements and allocating it as per
attestation to the given quantity in production drawing.
4. Studying the ops, qp, wps, pqr for feasibility of sequential operations.
5. Stage inspection of pressure parts as per drawings.
6.Visual inspection of welds for attachments in pressure parts.
7. Inspection, fit up of tubular products like Fin welded panels, Fusion welded panels, Economiser
coils, Superheater coils and Reheater coils.
8. Coordinating with NDT department for checking of welds using proper NDE methods.
9. Verifying the preheat, postheat, PWHT with respect to qp, wps and codes.
10. Final dimensional inspection of components as per dwg requirements.
11. Preparation of various documents required by IBR and coordinating with Third party inspection
agencies for clearance of products

12. Selection of electrodes & welding parameters, variables in welding processes like SMAW,
MIG/MAG, TIG..
13. Knowledge in SAP environment.
