LAS FUENTES DE LOS ERRORES DE SEAL GPS

SOURCES OF ERRORS OF GPS SIGNAL

afectar as la exactitud incluyen:

Factors that may deteriorate the GPS signal and

affect accuracy include:

inexactitudes

de

The ionosphere and the troposphere: The

satellite signal slows as it crosses the
atmosphere. The GPS system uses an
integrated model that calculates an average
amount of time to partially correct this type of
error.

Signal multipath: This occurs when the GPS

signal is reflected by objects such as tall
buildings or large rock surfaces before reaching
the receiver.

Receiver clock errors: The integrated clock of a

receiver may not be as accurate as the atomic
clocks aboard the GPS satellites, so that may
have very slight timing errors

Orbital errors: There are inaccuracies in the

satellite location.

The number of visible satellites, the accuracy

will be better, when the GPS receiver can see
more number of satellites
Satellite Geometry: The ideal satellite geometry
exists when the satellites are located at wide
angles between them. Poor geometry results
when the satellites are aligned or are very
close.

PLANEACIN DEL VUELO

FLIGHT PLANNING

In preparation for a flight to an aerodrome with a

GNSS RNAV procedure, the availability of RAIM
function (or equivalent algorithm) must be checked
by the operator, to do this, they can count on:

Utilizar una herramienta de prediccin del

equipo de abordo. En ese caso, la informacin
sobre la posible no disponibilidad de satlites
debe haber sido ingresada correctamente a
este sistema partiendo de los NOTAM RAIM

The predictions contained in Predictive RAIM

NOTAM GNSS / GPS developed by the
aeronautical information service of UAEAC.
These may contain the case of unavailability of
RAIM provided or, more general, the GNSS on a
specific airport; in this case the crew must use
other method of navigation, choose another
destination or delay the flight. Airline Company
will provide feedback on the differences flight
phase and compliance with UTC times from the
reports filed by the equipment on board of the
aircraft and published in the NOTAM Predictive
GNSS / GPS. All these reports must be sent by

The Predictive RAIM NOTAM GNSS / GPS using

"SAPET" are published by the UAEAC, under the
series "A" and "C" as follows:

servicio.

For those aircraft equipped with receivers that

enhance the integrity of the GPS service through
RAIM
methods
(Autonomous
Integrity
Monitoring Receiver) and FDE (Fault Detection
and Exclusion) based on the redundancy of GPS
satellite signal to determine the satellite
availability and integrity of service.

Se contempla el suministro y publicacin de

informacin NOTAM de disponibilidad RAIM con
una periodicidad de 24 horas para aeropuertos
con procedimientos publicados NPA GNSS. El
periodo de generacin de anlisis ser cada
(24 horas).

Provides for the supply and publication of RAIM

availability NOTAM with a periodicity of 24 hours
to airports with published procedures GNSS NPA.
The generation period of analysis is each (24
hours).

The analysis is performed based predictive RAIM

point coordinate generation for the ARP of the
respective aerodrome that has GNSS procedure
for non-precision approaches (NPA); or those
aerodrome to indicate to the Direccion de
Servicios a la Navegacion Aerea where GNSS /
GPS is used as a method of navigation.

El Angulo de enmascaramiento es de 5 grados

para garantizar un mnimo de 6 satlites.

The mask angle is 5 degrees to ensure a

minimum of 6 satellites.

aeropuerto.

Guidelines are followed to make predictions of

DOP (Dilution of Precision) taking into account
the geometry of GPS satellites. When GPS
satellites are visible near or together, the
geometry is weak and the DOP value is high;
when they are away and separated, the
geometry is strong and the DOP value is low.
Thus a low DOP value represents a better GPS
positional accuracy due to larger angular
separation between the satellites used; also
other factors that may increase the DOP are
obstacles such as mountains or buildings next to
a specific geographic location of an aerodrome

El NOTAM RAIM Predictivo GNSS/GPS se

publicar cada 24 horas, a partir de 19:30 UTC
para cada aerdromo en cuestin.

The Predictive RAIM NOTAM GNSS / GPS will be

published every 24 hours from 19:30 UTC for
each aerodrome concerned.

So this is a possible transcript of the NOTAM
