LPG to domestic consumers for household use and NonDomestic LPG in 14.2 kg cylinders to Exempt customer (eg
Defence, Hospital, Mid-day meal etc) wef 18.09.2012.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
This has reference to various communications and discussions on
capping of the domestic LPG cylinders as per directives from Ministry
of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India vide letter dated 13.09.2012
wherein it was conveyed to restrict the supply of subsidized cylinders
to each consumer to 6 cylinders (of 14.2kg) per annum. The number of
subsidized LPG cylinders available to each consumer in the remaining
part of the current financial year will be 3 cylinders.
Accordingly the Retail Selling Price of subsidized & Non-Subsidized
LPG to domestic consumers for household use and Non-Domestic LPG
in 14.2 kg cylinders to Exempt customer (eg Defence, Hospital, Midday meal etc) wef 18.09.2012 has been finalized and is as below:

All distributors are advised to implement the above wef 28.09.2012
and all concerned should be apprised of above RSP with immediate
effect. All the exempt category customers should be informed by letter
by the distributors communicating the new Retail Selling Price given in
the last column of the above table.
The new Retail Selling Price as mentioned above to be displayed
prominently at showroom and godown of each & every distributor
today itself.
