This section is the meat of the guide and will serve as your primary
resource for finding Pokemon in this guide, and hopefully the game. The
Pokemon
are divided up into their respective regions (via the National Pokedex
Number),
and the regions have been split up to reflect the chronological order of
release--Kanto [3.2], Johto [3.3], Hoenn [3.4], Sinnoh [3.5], and Unova
[3.6].
However, before we get into the actual Pokemon Locations, this next section
will help you use and interpret the guide.

In this guide, you'll primarily see the sample box I've created below:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------*Bulbasaur* -----------> Ivysaur -----------> Venusaur
(Lvl 16)
(Lvl 32)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, there's really only one way to get Bulbasaur because he is not
present
in any way in Black 2 or White 2. For this reason, you'll either need to
get
him by trading with a friend, or by transferring him from HeartGold or
SoulSilver (he can be found there post-game after defeating Red and talking
to
Prof. Oak).
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
++++
Now, before I go off explaining the box you see above, I'm going to
explain a few assumptions I make. Firstly, I assume that if you have one of
the evolutions/pre-evolutions of the Pokemon, you can easily evolve or
breed
it to get your desired Pokemon; therefore, I'm not going to put "Breed
Ivysaur"
or "Evolve Bulbasaur" simply because it would be redundant. Secondly, I'm
going
to assume that because you are looking in this guide, you're not
particularly
concerned with spoilers, such as Pokemon names, location names, and certain
elements from other games. However, I will not disclose plot spoilers from
this
game whatsoever. Thirdly, I'm going to make the Pokemon whatever gender I
want
them to be in the advice -- Jigglypuffs are female and Garchomp is male as
far
as I'm concerned. Also, I do not care about the Dream World; not everyone
has
access to it, so, if you can get a Pokemon that you need from there, that's
great for you, but that won't help many other people looking through this
guide. Finally, I'm going to assume that you read this section, and I'm not
going to take the time to explain the table setup for every Pokemon.
Ok, so now I'm going to condense the above table horizontally so I can
annotate it.

to
you
my advice as to how you
should
go about finding this
Pokemon.
______________________
||
|
(A) - Header
|
The header is mostly for presentation, and
allows
|______________________| you to easily skip to that section by using the
Ctrl +
F command pointed out earlier. For example, if you
wanted to figure out where you could catch a Pikachu, you could either type
in
#26 (including the # sign), or you could type in "Pikachu," and cycle
through
'til you reach the correct Pikachu header. This is the header's main
function,
though it should help you distinguish one Pokemon from another easily.
______________________
||
|
(B) - Evolutions
|
Since many Pokemon have evolutionary trees or
|______________________| lines, it would likely be helpful to know when and
how they evolve, as well as what the Pokemon
evolves
into, if you didn't already know that. I will only put the evolutionary
that
directly involves the Pokemon in question; for example, I'm not going to
put
a full Eeveeluton line in Jolteon's Pokemon Location box. It should more or
less look like this:
Eevee ------------> Jolteon
(ThndrStne)
Here are some general abbreviations that I will use for evolution lines:

best bet. If the Pokemon is version-exclusive, I'll still put the location
there even if it isn't the correct game -- chances are that you have a good
shot at finding someone who has the other version in your local area or
online.
Also, if the Pokemon can ONLY be found via evolution, then I'll put that
there.
However, that is the ONLY case that I'll put to evolve or breed a Pokemon.

(D) - Advice
|
This is probably the other useful section as
it
|______________________| tells you where I think the best place to find
this
Pokemon is. This may not always be the first area,
or
the area where it has the highest level; it's the place that I find the
Pokemon
easiest to catch. Of course, this is mostly my opinion, so you can take it
with
a grain of salt if you think my opinion stinks. I'm open to suggestions for
better locations, but I don't want raging emails saying "HURRDURR, YOU
DIDN'T
SAY ______ SPOT EVEN THOUGH I GOT MINE THERE." I could do without those,
thank
you very much.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Venusaur follows much the same advice as his pre-evos; you need to
import
him from another game. Also, if you find it easier, you can possibly get
him
from the Dream World, but trading from HeartGold is most likely easier.

can
directly find them post-E4.

o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (Black 2 only)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Caterpie -----------> *Metapod* -----------> Butterfree
(Lvl 7)
(Lvl 10)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------It's a little trickier to get Metapod because he is only available by
first
breeding a Butterfree (only found in White 2) and evolving the resulting
Caterpie. Of course, you could always trade a Metapod from one of the Gen
IV
games since he is slightly more attainable in those games (the Bug Catching
Contest in HeartGold/SoulSilver).

o Trade from HeartGold/SoulSilver (Black 2 only)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Caterpie -----------> Metapod -----------> *Butterfree*
(Lvl 7)
(Lvl 10)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Butterfree is directly attainable in White 2 (but not Black 2) postgame in
the Hidden Hollow of Pinwheel Forest. She's around Level 55, so you'll have
a
tougher time catching her than you would other Pokemon. To find the Hidden
Hollow, you'll want to be inside the actual forest area near the lake in
the
lower-left. On the western shore, there is tree that is accessable directly
next to the lake, and, should you examine that tree, you'll be able to find
a
Butterfree in there. Of course, if you're in Black 2, you'll need to trade
from
another game whether it be White 2 or a Gen IV game.

(Lvl 7)
(Lvl 10)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Players in Black 2 are able to find a Beedrill (see #15; Beedrill)
directly
in a Hidden Hollow in Pinwheel Forest. From there, you can breed Beedrill
to
get a Weedle; however, if you're White 2, you have to trade from another
game.
Your best attempt is HeartGold or SoulSilver because Weedle is easily found
in
the Bug Catching Contest.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Players in Black 2 are able to find a Beedrill (see #15; Beedrill), and
can
can breed him to yield a Weedle. You can then evolve this Weedle to get
your
desired Kakuna. Players in White 2 can trade from either HeartGold or

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Rattata -----------> *Raticate*
(Lvl 20)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Raticate is found earliest in Relic Path where he is about Level 29.
That's
probably your best bet unless you'd like to wait for the Dreamyard, which
is
unwise as that's very late in the game. It should also be noted that you
can
easily level-up a Rattata from Castelia City to get him to evolve.

o Route 15 (Swarm) (approx. lvl 55)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Spearow -----------> *Fearow*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------If you're struggling to find a Fearow in White 2, that's likely because
the
chance of finding a Fearow in White 2 is much lower than that of Black 2.
Still, you must encounter a swarm for Route 15 to even catch a Fearow in
the
first place.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Sandshrew is really only found in the Desert Resort and suurounding
desert
areas (Relic Castle), so you don't have many options. I actually have a
better
time finding him in the castle itself, but it's not like there's much of a
walk
from the Desert Resort to the Relic Castle anyways.

(Lvl 22)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Unless you want to wait til the post-game to get a Sandslash, you'll
have
to muddle around in the Maze Deep of the Relic Castle for a while. If you
don't
want to go through the trouble of finding a Sandslash directly, you could
always catch and Sandshrew in the Relic Caslte, level him up 2 levels, and
get

(Lvl 16)
(MoonStne)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, the only place to find a Nidoran (F) is in the post-game, and
it's in
a Hiddin Hollow. This Hidden Hollow is located between two trees to the
left of
the lass in the northwest corner. The good news is you'll be able to easily
evolve Nidoran (F) when you get her.
By the way, sorry about the whole (F). Text FAQs don't allow the symbol

|
|
|--------------------> Huntail
(Trade w/ DSTooth)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------The problem isn't getting the Clamperl--the problem is evolving.
Regardless
of what game you're in, you'll want to try either Black City in Black 2, or
Route 13 in the original two games to get a DeepSeaScale. Otherwise, you
won't
be able to evolve your Clamperl. (Looking for a wild one isn't worth the
time).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------I really hope you have a spare Relicanth in one of your other games or
a
copy of the original Black and White. Relicanth's encounter rate for the
above
location is 5%; however, in the two original games, it's 60%. I'd recommend
you
try there, if you can.
