Analytical analysis: Technology; Good or Bad for Todays Youth

In the article, the writer who has studied about the good and bad effects of technology to todays youth
tries to resolve a complicated dilemma amount youngster,under what circumstance is it acceptable to
prevent the youngster from using technology nowadays or not. The author answer however remain
unclear although technology give disadvantages for youth but it also bring advantage to youth
development in learning new things.The author does not explain the criteria by which youth should use
to avoid the disadvantages of technology.
From the article,the author clearly say that he is against the technology,and when i searching for the
disadvantages of technology, the opposing side often hyperbolically targets the youth as a generation of
hopeless and technology-fueled zombies. I would respect this argument if it had the least bit of
substantial support, but it does not, so I will refer to it as it is; hogwash. I mostly use this word for
humor, but in this case I use it to describe an article aimed at the retrogression of humanity through its
budding intellectuals. We are not a generation leaning on technology- technology leans on us. We are
the ones to improve it. We are the ones who will drag the race through naivety and pseudotheories and,
in time, spark the flame for a new generation that will continue the same path. I am a Christian- let that
be known- but I am a Christian who firmly believes in the wonders of technology to bring great changes
in society. This is our revolution, and just like in the Agricultural and Industrial, there will be setbacks. It
is our responsibility to fight through them.
Furthermore, people are out in public parks enjoying nature..with their phones! As soon as classes are
over everyone pulls out their phone. In the restroom, everyone has a phone in their hands. And even
though lots of good things come with internet (ex. online friends), bad things like money-stealing hoax
ads and rudeness really come up a lot. The internet is not only a great place to keep up with friends...
often, people forget the manners they had in everyday life on the web, and act rudely in ways they
would never speak to someone face-to-face. Finally, the internet is a really easy place for anyone to
anonymously post stuff that corrupts minors. And on the web, kids, especially the little, less responsible
children or "bad" kids have easy access and are easily influenced by things that would usually be
considered inappropriate and/or dangerous for a minor. Technology is a useful tool, but useful only
when used wisely. Misused, it can really make terrible messes.
For conclusion, i somehow agree with this article, but technology is wide. its not only about the
communication nowadays. You can use technology to cure diseases or even for sports benefit there is
this organization called Youth for Technology Foundation that based on their website, technology and
computers are being introduced to enhance teaching and learning and prepare students for the new
world in which they live. To make a good essay, you must state both of the disadvantages and
advantages to make it objective. For the examples, it is unreliable because the author didn't say based
on what reliable sources well, as in this world, there always be the disadvantages and advantages.
