Enterprises .

PROBLEM: May small company not adoption IT in thair opration.


OBJECTIVE:1. To study problem faced by small company toword adoption IT.
2. To study small companies awareness to word IT.
3. To study approach of small companies to word IT.
LITERATURE REVIEW:FINDINGS: This study results reveals that most of the enterprises are adopting
information, communication and technology in the areas of marketing,
sales and customer relationship management. Micro enterprises are
adopting the information technology only for advertisements and payroll
processing.But some of the small and medium enterprises are using
technology for order processin,online payment, advertising ect.

CONCLUSIONS: The proper application of

information technology and the use of

information system may offer opportunities for MSMEs to overcome


some of their problems and to improve their survivability in a
competitive enviroment. IT has critically become indispensible tool for
daily operation of the organization. This work found out the factors that
influence and inhibit the implementation of information technology in
MSMEs . technological barriers like lack of internet security and
financial constrain constitute a pressing issue among MSMEs. And the
most of the MSME owners are aware of the benefits arising from the
information technology.
RESEARCH DESIGN: Descriptive research design.
Scope of study: Gandhinagar area.
Analysis: According to this study some of the enterprises have website and thay are
adopting e-commerce in thaire business process that is 30% micro, 70%
small, and 95% medium. But most of them did not proveded online sales
processing; order tracking : online procurement and online payment.
Implemented by most of enterprises is electronic advertising and payroll
processing.

IMPLICATIONS OF STUDY:Benefits: The top expected benefits frome information technology is classified broadly
into three; strategic leval benefits, marketing benefits and oparation leval
and strategic leval respectively.
According to this study, most of the responded agreed that thair customer
sarvices will be enhanced more, some respondents are says that there may
be a change in thair sales revenue, increase ability to compete, easy access
to information and improved communication.
