Size 5 mm (U.S. 8) circular knitting needle 36" [90 cm] long or size
needed to obtain gauge. Stitch holder.
GAUGE
18 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.
Cont in pat until work from beg measures approx 9 (9-10-10-1010)" [24 (24-25.5-25.5-26.5-26.5) cm], ending on a 4th or 8th row
of pat.
Shape sides: Keeping cont of pat, inc 1 st each end of next 6 rows,
taking inc sts into pat. 99 (105-111-117-141-153) sts.
Shape sleeves: Keeping cont of pat, cast on 9 (9-9-8-7-6) sts beg next
10 rows. 189 (195-201-197-211-213) sts. Place markers at each end of
last row.
Cont even in pat until work from markers measures 6 (6-7-7-8-8)" [15
(15-18-18-20.5-20.5) cm], ending with a WS row. Place markers at each
end of last row.
Divide fronts: Next row: (RS). Pat across 81 (84-87-84-91-92) sts (neck
edge). Turn. Leave rem sts on a spare needle.
Right Front: Cont even in pat on 81 (84-87-84-91-92) sts for 7 rows.
Inc 1 st at neck edge on next and every following 4th row 9 times more,
taking inc sts into pat. 91 (94-97-94-101-102) sts.
Cont even in pat until work from 2nd set of markers measures 6 (6-7-78-8) [15 (15-18-18-20.5-20.5) cm], ending with a WS row.
Shape sleeve and side edge: Cast off 9 (9-9-8-7-6) sts beg next and

Rep last 2 rows for Seed St Pat for 5 [14 cm], ending on a WS row. Cast
off loosely in pat.
Sew side and sleeve seams.
