OVERVIEW
Todays businesses have to compete in an increasingly globalized
marketplace. Round the clock operations, distributed locations
nationally and internationally, and a growing remote and mobile
workforce are requiring businesses to adopt technologies that

Optimized for small to mid-sized businesses and branch offices of
mid-to-large enterprises, the QUANTiX QFlex serves the role of a
Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA) at the enterprise network edge and
provides security, topology hiding, SIP ALG, NAT/PAT translation,
IP PBX interoperability and remote monitoring and management
capabilities.

UNIQUE INTEROPERABILITY
The QFlex eSBC uses a unique approach to solve multi-vendor
interoperability issues by utilizing pre-loaded adaptors with profiles
built for all major IP PBX vendors, core session border controllers,
and Application server platforms. The QFlex eSBC allows service
providers to deploy an enterprise IP PBX with specific profile towards
the LAN and to have a SIP Trunk provider-specific profile on the WAN
interface. With support for a wide range of IP PBX vendors and
release version profiles, QFlex enables service providers to reduce
time to market by cutting interoperability time from months to weeks or
days and offering SIP Trunk services to a broader market.
This unique interoperability approach helps service providers and
enterprises use supplementary services such as call forwarding,
transfer, and music on hold in a multi-vendor IP PBX environment,
across different branch offices.

The QUANTiX QFlex eSBC is ideal for securing SIP Trunks from service
providers, assuring multi-vendor IP PBX interoperability for branch office
consolidation over MPLS networks, routing traffic in IP-enabled call
centers, and allowing remote users and satellite offices to securely
connect to corporate IP communication systems.

SCALABILITY OPTIONS
GENBAND provides flexible options to deliver QFlex to SMBs and
enterprises. The QFlex eSBC is available pre-loaded on a server
appliance with multiple scale options or as a software-only product.
Scaling ranges from 1 to 1000 simultaneous sessions.
Unique to the industry, the QFlex supports a pooled license
model, allowing sharing of session capacity across multiple QFlex
appliances or software instances.
