1) User Permissions Needed to create or update custom report types: "Manage

Custom Report Types"
2) Users with the "Manage Custom Report Types" permission can view and define
custom report types that include objects they do not have permission to
access. However, they cannot access data stored in those objects. For
example,a user with the "Manage Custom Report Types" permission who does
not have permission to view leads can view and define custom report types
that include leads, but he or she cannot access lead data. This enables
specific users to build report types for all users in their organization without
compromising data security settings.
3) Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Edition users can schedule
and email reports.
4) User Permissions Needed to schedule and email a report: Schedule Reports
and To delete the scheduled report run: "Modify All Data"
5) Users with the "Manage Analytic Snapshots" permission can schedule when to
run a tabular or summary report and save the report results to fields on a
custom object.
6) You cannot delete a report that provides data to a dashboard component or
analytic snapshot.To delete the report, you must first delete the dashboard
component or analytic snapshot.
7) Users with the "Manage Users" permission can create a custom user report
that lists the details of users' login attempts.The relevant fieldssuch as Login
Date/Time, Source IP Address, and Login Status
8) If tags are enabled, you can tag any custom report that you have saved.When
viewing the report, click AddTags or Edit Tags in the Tags area directly under
the colored title bar to tag the report.
9) If your report takes longer than 10 minutes to complete, Salesforce cancels
the report.
10) Summary fields on tabular, summary, and matrix reports can display up to 21digits. Summary fields of 21 digits will display precisely, but more than 21
digits may not be precise.
11) Your organization is limited to no more than 200 scheduled reports and
editions have different daily limits.
12) Scheduled reports run in the time zone of the user who schedules the report.
13) "#Too Big!" displays on report cells if your custom summary formula output is
over 21 digits.When this happens, check your formula for calculations that
could result in more than 18 digits.
14) In a report, you can only view fields that are visible to you in page layouts. An
administrator can create a public report that contains fields that are
inaccessible to you, but when you view that report, those fields will not be
visible.Also, any filter conditions that include fields you do not have access to

view will not be available to you when you view the report. Furthermore, if you
modify a report that has filter lines with fields you cannot view, those filters
are removed from the report when you save it.
15) When creating a custom report type that will be translated into multiple
languages via the translation workbench, we recommend that your personal
language setting matches your organization's default language.This is to
ensure that words which will be translated display in the correct language for
translators.
16) If the primary object on a custom report type is a custom object, and the
custom object is deleted, then the custom report type and any reports created
from it will automatically be deleted. Furthermore, custom report types
associated with custom objects in the Deleted Custom Objects list count
against the maximum number of custom report types you can create.
17) A custom report type's Deployment Status will automatically change from
"Deployed" to "In Development" if its primary object is a custom object whose
Deployment Status changes from "Deployed" to "In Development."
18) You can delete the schedule of when an analytic snapshot runs. You cannot
stop or pause an analytic snapshot when it is running. Furthermore, you
cannot delete the source report of an analytic snapshot.To delete the source
report, you must first remove the report from the analytic snapshot by
changing the report in the Source Report drop-down list.
