Known Issues
In 64bit operating systems, the full Robcad Silent Uninstall hangs when it reaches the
stage of Exceed uninstall. The workaround is to rerun the full Robcad Silent Uninstall.
When installing Robcad on a PC with more than one partition (e.g., C: and D:), you
should install MKS manually before installing Robcad 9.0. Make sure to manually
change the path of the MKS installation to C:\Program Files\MKS Toolkit.
Otherwise MKS will be installed on the other partition by default.
On Vista OS (32 & 64 bit) Robcad setup should be run as administrator (Right
ClickRun As Administrator).
Proper use of Robcad on Vista 64bit requires turning User Account Control to off, as
follows:
1. From Start Control Panel, click User Accounts and Family Safety.
16
3. Click Turn User Account Control off in the User Accounts window.
17
Additions to Startup
Version 9.0 Setup adds the Motif Windows Manager application (mwm.exe) to the Windows
start-up applications folder:
All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
