What Will a Site Visit Include?

Each site visit location has planned a
schedule that highlights the essential features
of PBS for planning and implementation in
their school. Agendas will vary slightly
depending on implementation variability and
grade level, although each site visit will
include the following: a tour of the school;
time with PBS team members and the school
administrator; a package of materials related
to PBS implementation, including a history of
PBS in the school and a review of data and
outcomes from PBS; and an opportunity for
questions. Visitors are encouraged to visit the
site that will meet their individual needs by
considering location and grade level.

2010 November 2006 for scaling-up evidence-
based practices supported by the federal

setting. Discussion will include how the PBS
philosophy and SWIS data collection system are
essential to the school’s identification of
students in need of support and
intervention. Visitors will have the option to
observe a PBS Team meeting at 3:30 p.m.
Jack Jackter Intermediate School

This visit will include a tour of the school and an
opportunity to observe a Town Meeting
assembly during which students
acknowledged for demonstrating appropriate
behavior. The school will also discuss some of
the challenges of implementing and maintaining
a continuum of support for behavior.
