5 SAMPLER ECOTECH MODEL AAS 127Mini

BACKGROUND
In air quality standard measurement of PM 2.5 dusts has been made
mandatory besides other parameters for defining the quality of
ambient air. Impactor based PM2.5 sampler has been developed by
Ecotech which meet requirement of PM 2.5 sampling indicated in
USEPA guidelines.
AAS 127MINI is operate and portable and compact instrument using
which PM10 Or PM2.5 concentration in ambient air can be measured
gravimetrically.
Impactor fitted in AAS 127MINI are based on the designed published
in Federal Register 40 CFR part 50 Appendix L (updated May 2002).
Ecotech AAS 127Mini is fitted with brushless and noiseless pump
assembly where sampling rates of 1m3/hr is maintained constant with
the help of critical orifice. Suction pump is equipped with heavy duty
induction motor. These features ensures that sampling rate is
unaffected with filter choking and input voltage fluctuations.
Key component of the instrument is WINS IMPACTOR (PM2.5
impactor) which is accurately fabricated using CNC machine as per
design of USEPA. compact design of sampler and other fitments
made this sampler unique simple and most suitable for PM10 or
PM2.5 monitoring (only one parameter can be monitored at a time).
Due to its small size it is very easy to transport it from one location to
other while monitoring.
AAS127MINI is easy to operate and work successfully in harsh Indian
climatic conditions fitted with flow indicator which continuous show
sampling flow rate. Digital re-settable time totalizer provided for
recording of actual on time of the machine.
