evaluation questionnaire in which they were suppose to express their opinion about the conference
through questions. Evaluation sheets were filled in and submitted by 52 participants of the
conference in total.
The purpose of the evaluation was to determine the degree of satisfaction of the participants of the
Conference, as well as gain insight into the issues of organizational work. We wanted to know
whether we can offer something new and different for the participants in the future or to correct and
improve our work.

believe that this International Conference was organised on a good way and that all the participants
got the most of it as for the lectures, workshops, interconnecting and socializing.
Because of the wide range of people who participated in this Conference (from students to lectures
and from people from all around Europe) it is a good sign that we have manage to meet the needs of
most of the participants. When organising this kind of events, It is very important fro us to create a
good and comfortable atmosphere so that participants can get to know each other and to make the
most of it.

2. Please explain why did you felt in a certain way?

The second question is a descriptive paragraph that explains the first question. Below, we bring you

show the relation between the situations/things that participants were satisfied and the ones that
they were not satisfied about.

-

Good organisation
Presentations of the NGOs
Giving the participants the real examples
(not only theory)
The quality of the workshops

NOT SATISFIED ABOUT

participants didn't speak English very
well)
Program was overloaded
Too short period

As you can see, the participants were satisfied with the organisation of the conference as well as with
the lectures, presentations and the workshops that we have provided for them. It is very important
that participants have said that they are very satisfied with the quality of the given content which
means that the whole organisation of the conference reached it's goal and that it to offer a new
ways, from various aspects, on how to build a community that is friendly to children.

4. Extract what you have learned at the conference and what you consider is important.

scale. The results obtained display that the participants find the conference very important,
good, successful, optimistic, positive, active and warm. Participants have, on average, chosen the
positive side of the scale, showing tendency towards very positive notions.

6. What changes, regarding the conference organisation, do you propose?

Here are some of the most mentioned sugestions for the organisation of the conferene:

Not to devide lectures organise it so that everyone can listen to all lectures
Smaler conference room
To last longer so that schedule doesn't have to be so crowded
More workshops
More time for dissccusion
Less Power Point Presentations more interactive work
More promotional materials

We can conclude that the participants felt good during the conference, that there were many
things that they were satisfied with, and only few reasons for dissatisfaction. The conference had
an abundance of ideas on offer that could be used in the classroom practice at different levels.
Having had diverse forms, the conference created situations in which the participants could feel
creative, but this was always a matter of personal choice.
