Subtitle:
Question: Of the Following Two Choices, Which is the Best?
(1) Armed Conflict (threat or otherwise) resolved via violence only
(2) Armed Conflict (threat or otherwise) resolved via non-violence only
Answer: (2) use only of non-violence to resolve any type conflict

Proof Using Scripture That Jesus Advocated End War For Ever
Assumption: The Lord God exists. To me, the best indication that this is true is the medieval ontological proof
asserting that the ultimate perfection can only be The Lord God.
First, all Scripture is inspired by God
2 Timothy 3:16
Then
(1) God is love
1 John 4:16
(2) The Lord God is The God of Peace
1 Thessalonians 5:23
(3) The Spirit of God is in each of us
1 Corinthians 3:16
(4) Eternal life is ours if we want it: a promise of God
1 John 5:11
(5) We are free to do whatever we choose: God
2 Corinthians 3:17 ( with particular reference to (3) )
(6) The degree of your belief in God depends on the strength of your faith, which works via love
(a) Galatians 5:6
(b) 1 John 5:20, John 14:6, John 17:17 ( latter with particular reference to 2 Tim. 3:16 )
(c) 1 Timothy 6:12 ( with particular reference to (4) )
(7) Exercise your faiththat is, strengthen itby being good
Luke 6:43-45, Galatians 5:22-23 ( in this latter, please note: the very first evidence listed and which you exhibit
( along with the other eight ) of doing good is love. I have poetically defined love thus: love brings
warmth and light and truth to ones thoughts and Ive defined truth such that the closer one
approaches to perfection, the closer one approaches to truth. Later, I poetically define peace. )
(8) Does it not therefore make sense that Jesus advocated peace ( Mark 12:30-31 ), with particular reference to
eternal life; that is, peace for ever for all who are saved?
If so, how are we saved?
Hebrews 10:10
(9) (8) has the effect of erasing our sins from Gods memory
Hebrews 10:17
(10) Jesus said, If a person loves me, they will heed my words, and peace will be theirs.
John 14:23 ( all verses highlighted in green in this discussion were spoken by Jesus Christ )
(11) Which words belong to Jesus? I list perhaps the best examples, the Beatitudes, mostly from Jesuss Sermon
on the Mount
Matthew 5:3-12, Luke 6:20
(12) Also, continuing (11), the following very important words
John 15:12-14 and, of course, above all, Matthew 5:44 ( if this last verse isnt the very epitome itself of
realizing peace, I dont know what is! )
(13) What is peace?
I have a saying: In war, the ultimate victor is death. In peace, the ultimate victor is life.

I am a Christian poet. From only one of my poems listed later in this discussion, Justice for Hypatia, this is
evident. The verse reference allowing this is Acts 17:28
The Beatitude with which I personally identify is Matthew 5:7
What is mercy, you might well ask?
I like William Shakespeares ( perhaps historys best known poet ) definition:
The quality of mercy is not strained.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blessed:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
What might mercy entail, then?
We know that Satan embodies evil. Hebrews 2:13-15, John 8:44
We know that Jesus rejected Satan, and therefore rejected evil. Luke 4:1-8
Therefore, by rejecting evil, Jesus embraces good
This is as wed expect, since Jesus is the Son of God. Mark 10:18, Luke 3:22, Luke 2:9-11, and of course again
referencing 1 John 5:20
Jesus did not only advocate for us humans to believe in God. He also advocated for us humans how to believe in
God. Mark 12:30
Since Jesus said, You can only reach God through me, ( John 14:6 ), and since God is love which elicits
peace, Jesus advocated for peace ( John 14:23, Matthew 5:44 ). True, I previously wrote in effect peace
with reference to eternal life; however, as evidenced in The Lords Prayer, ( Matthew 6:9-13 ), it seems
obvious that Jesus also advocated peace for ever on Earth
Therefore mercy implies peace and as I define it, peace implies no war
Now we understand completely why the Roman Empireperhaps the most profound example of totalitarianism
that Mankind ever conceivedput Jesus Christ to death: because totalitarianism is based solely on war and
because in direct contravention to that Jesus Christ advocated peace for ever, both on Earth and in Heaven. So if
youre wondering what Armageddon is about, you have to take that up with The Lord God when you see Him if
you dare!
End of Bible verse proof and poetic discussion, except for this last note: if you consider war to be organized
murderas was stated by Harry Patch, the last surviving veteran of WWI ( who passed on recently )then
please note: its stated Thou shalt not kill ( aka Thou shalt not murder; that is, kill without just cause) at
least three times in The Holy Bible KJV
( Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Luke 18:20 plus one other mention ) and only twice that God is love ( 1
John 4:16, 1 John 4:8 ), and since the Bible is the written word of God
( 2 Timothy 3:16, John 17:17 ) and God always tells the truth ( Titus 1:2 ), one might surmise that instead of us
humans trying to figure out what God is, God wants us to immediately and with finality peacefully effect an end
to all war for ever!
In conclusion, God wants us to live without warring, because to do so strengthens our belief in Him and
therefore strengthens our love for Him, as per 1 John 4:16-19, with particular emphasis on 1 John 4:19
As the proof of the latter verse is John 3:16, therefore I personally believe that the best start to effect peace for
ever is to do 1 John 4:15, to understand this whole proof, and to immediately peacefully effect the end of all war
for ever
Im also illustrating this verse/poetic proof with the following three practical examples, for the pragmatists out
there

(1) the Coke truck accident

(2) the Robin Hood Flour Mill strike
(3) Justice for Hypatia
Common to these three examples is the theme that people peacefully and non-violently helping other people is
the most cost-effective solution in each and every one of these three examples. Using these three solved
problems of peaceful conflict resolution, can we use these to therefore surmise that peaceful conflict resolution
is always the best solution to any problem?
(1) Local children help reload the truck with the spilled cases of Coke and receive each as much Coke as you
can carry in return, i.e. one case each of Coke. (Implicit question: how far do you think you, as a child, can
walk in sub-zero snowy, icy weather carrying more than one case of coke? Implicit answer: Limitone case
per helper.) The alternative was that the children swarm and overpower the driver, and again the same: walk
away with what they could carry: one case. What made the difference? A peaceful ethic, as in the stellar
example of the preaching of Jesus the Christ (Messiah). How do we know this is true? Look at the two
outcomes: in the peaceful case, all that is lost are a few cases of Coke. In the non-peaceful case, violence would
beget violence, and any number of costly outcomes would result. (1) the children would learn that crime pays
and become criminals; that is, obviously unwanted burdens on society. (2) the driver would retaliate resulting
again in (1). (3) in the worst case, Coke would be out: of all the Coke, of a truck, and a driver; that is, obviously
the latter outcomes would be costly to repair, and for lack of these monies could in an extreme case result in the
demise of the Coca-Cola Company
(2) Ultimately, it was police intervention which effected the resolution of the strike. The fearsome Surete du
Quebec used its armed might to, without firing a shot, bring about a peaceful end to the strike. The alternative
was that they simply blow the strikers away. That they didnt, I believe, is directly attributable to the lasting
influence of gospel of Jesus Christ which is peace. Using Sine Qua Nonwithout which notthe without
being the strikers, one sees that were the police allowed to simply blow strikers away, ultimately no workers
would work at that company. The company would collapse, and the cost to the economy would be more
detrimental than if the company had continued. The example of Jesuss life shows that one person, pursuing
peace always, can overcome even a regime as powerful as the Roman Empire was in the time of Jesus. The
other way, continued use of force results in totalitarianism culminating in death of Freedom
(3) Please google Hypatia

How does this poem manifest the teachings of Jesus?

If we were to deduce the fate of Hypatia only from this poem, what could we say? That according to it perhaps
all that happened regarding the fate of Hypatia was that Cyrils wife sacrificed her scarf embroidery in order to
teach Cyril a lesson. What lesson? That vengeance is not within the domain of Mankind, basically. This latter in
order to maintain peace. Perhaps Cyrils longsuffering wife ran off, and Hypatia skipped town. In this manner, I
postulate, justice surely would have been best served, wouldnt it? Note that this outcome is the most peaceful
of all the possibilities, and, as Cyril was head of a Christian sect, this peaceful outcome was the one which most
followed the teachings of Jesus, that is, the Gospel of Peace. Also, if I were Hypatia then, I might be more likely
to be receptive to forsaking my paganism and believing in Christianity, because it didnt try to rape me to
deathas Cyril had originally orderedand instead in my case directed its teaching appropriately
I leave it up to you to decide whether these three examples in themselves are sufficient to draw the conclusion
that peace is better than war
Additional: Im not sure about the following; however, it might be a viable tryif one is going to pursue
building Artificial Intelligences ( AIs )in order for an/(the) AI(s) not to destroy us humans (out of sheer
impatience, perhaps) to understand this verse/poetic proof. In such case, I would highly recommend before
doing this that humans first peacefully effect a permanent end to war for ever, so as to lead by setting the best
example for us humans and for otherssuch as AIsto follow

How to Kill Satan
The following verses and their text are from the Pure Cambridge Edition of the King James Bible, which
is available free online. These verses could come from any KJV (King James Version). This procedure
works if the verses are either read (either all aloud or all to oneself) exactly word for word from The Holy
Bible or recited from memory (from a KJV, either all aloud or all to oneself) exactly word for word:
Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the
Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning,
and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for
he is a liar, and the father of it.
Hebrews 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
1 Peter 5:6-11
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he
may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that
are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have
suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Do:
1 Read the cited verses, as stated in the preamblein the exact same order as listedaloud or to yourself
(whichever you choose, please be consistent subsequently).
2 Say aloud or think the words, God help. Pause (for three seconds).
3 Say aloud or think the words, Please remove Satan from me [or us] immediately, The One True Almighty
Lord God. Thank you. Pause (for three seconds).
4 Repeat Steps 1-3, except for Step 3 say aloud or think these words instead, Please destroy Satan
immediately, The One True Almighty Lord God. Thank you.
5 Repeat Steps 1-3, except for Step 3 say aloud or think these words instead, Please throw Satan into the lake
of fire immediately, The One True Almighty Lord God. Thank you. (The verse justification for this comes
from Revelation 20:10.)
6 Praise THEE, Lord.
(As I, Rolf Auer, am a Christian poet, I also add the following at this point in the procedure:
Take your hands off me [or us], Satan.
Satan, hie thee to deepest darkness.
Satan, make you not, now. [Some might say, Satan, unmake yourself, now.])
Please repeat as often as you think is necessary!
