Student Record Data Entry

Student Detail (Complete after watching tutorial video 5:00-13:56 minutes)


1. New Student: Create a new record for a student (pick a name). Enter basic information
for him/her remember to include the students first and last name in the Full Name
field. Make sure to assign him/her to a reading center. Be sure to indicate that the
student did turn in a parent permission form and does have photo permission. Then
enter his/her basic contact information. Chose an ethnicity and gender for the student
from the list. Lastly, add the following birthdate: 9/16/2005 and this student is only
attending one session per week because we are still searching for a second tutor to do
his/her second session.
2014-15 Student Information (Complete after watching tutorial video 13:57- 32:58
minutes)
2. Your student is now enrolled (change the student status to enrolled). Now use the
following information to enter the data for your student:
the student does not have a cognitive IEP
the student is not in Special Education or receive RSP
the student does receive free/reduced lunch
the students school ID number is 9456721
the student participates in two Other Programs: Dual Immersion and After
School Program
Your student is in the 3rd grade and is in Mr.Teachers class in room 205
Your student was enrolled on 9/14/14 and he/she is pulled from Afterschool
program
Your student is an English Language Learner and his/her most current ELL
score is 3
Your student is a Target student.
2014-15 Rigby Information (Complete after watching tutorial video 32:59- 39:35 minutes)
3. You have now assess your student. Use the following information to enter data into the
2014-15 Rigby Information section.
You assessed the student on 9/6/14. The students independent reading rigby level
was 18 and the students fluency rate was 102 correct words per minute (cwpm).
4. Save the data you have entered and check the 2014-15 Student Performance section to
see the auto-calculated data. Record the auto-calculated data below:

5. Create a new student to tutor mapping. Enter a tutor name, start date for the pair,
select the year 2014-15 and choose as session for the pair.

6. Your student is available on M1, T3, T4, T5, W1
Test Scores (Complete after watching tutorial video 43:51 45:46 minutes)
7. Your collected state test data from your students teacher. Your student took the CST
ELA on 5/15/14 in the 2nd grade. His/her raw score was a 3 and the secondary score
was a 391.
Tutor and Teacher Surveys (Complete after watching tutorial video 45:47 48:00 minutes)
8. It is now December and you have a completed teacher survey for your student. Create
a new survey and practice entering data for survey questions.
