Note : Relaxation in upper age limit is upto a maximum of three years for OBC candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE : Candidates will be selected on the basis of test and/ or interview.
In case of huge response to any post, screening test of the eligible candidates will be conducted in order to shortlist
the candidates to be called for the interview. The decision of NRB will be final and binding.
Candidates will be called for interview based on their academic and professional qualifications and experience in
the relevant field. Final selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
General Condition:
1.
(a) Application will be accepted on-line only and copy of the application need not be sent by post.
(b) For details regarding on-line application please log into website www.barcrecruit.gov.in
(c) Before submitting the online application form, the candidate must ensure that they fulfill all the
eligibility criteria with respect to age, educational qualifications and work experience as
published in the advertisement. If the candidate is not eligible, their candidature will be
cancelled at any stage of the recruitment. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and
subsequently , it is found that he/she does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature
will be cancelled and if appointed, services will be terminated without any notice or
compensation.
(d) The candidates should download a copy of the application and admit card and submit the same along
with the attested copies of all relevant documents/certificate in support of the date of birth, educational
qualification, caste and experience only at the time of test/interview. Candidates should also bring all
relevant original documents for verification at the time of interview. Candidates who report for the
interview without any of the supporting documents/certificate will not be allowed to appear before the
interview committee.
(e) The facility of on line application will be opened on 15/12/2014 and closed on 31/12/2014.

3. TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE :
For Engineer post: The Outstation Candidates called for screening test/ Interview will be eligible for to and
fro rail fare for IInd Class / sleeper class or actual fare by the shortest route whichever is less, subject to the
production of tickets / ticket numbers etc.
For Supervisor/Cost Accountant post : Outstation SC/ST Candidates called for screening test/Interview
will be eligible for to and fro rail fare for IInd Class / sleeper class or actual fare by the shortest route
whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers & SC/ST certificate etc.
However, Traveling Allowance is not admissible to those SC / ST candidates who are already in
Central / State Government services, Central / State Government Corporation, Public Undertakings,
Local Government Institutions and Panchayats.
4. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for the online receipt of the applications.
5. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for
being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
6. Persons working in the Central/ State Government/ PSU should submit NOC from the employer at the time
of interview.
7. The nature of duties to be performed involves working in round the clock shift duties at site.
8. Interested candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria detailed above and agreeable to the said terms and
conditions of contract appointment may apply. The contract appointment will be for a fixed period of one
year, at the end of which the appointment will stand automatically terminated and the candidate so
appointed ,will have no claim whatsoever for continuing in the appointment or for regular employment in
Nuclear Recycle Board, Tarapur / Mumbai.
9. Candidates may ensure that they fill in the correct information. Candidates who furnish false information will
be disqualified for screening test/interview.
10. The vacancies shown above are provisional and subject to variation. The filling up of vacancies indicated in
the advertisement is also subject to the approval of Competent Authority and may not be filled up if decided
otherwise in terms of the orders issued from Government from time to time.
11. The Board reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process for contract
appointment, if need arises, without assigning any notice or assigning any reason therefore.
12. Candidates should submit attested single copy of Certificates of the following at time of Interview :
a) Education & Technical qualifications supported by appropriate mark sheets indicating the subjects offered
in the examination. (Note : In case Universities award letter grades/CGPA/OGPA the same will have to
be indicated as equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by that University. In the
absence of the same the candidature will not be considered.)
b) Date of birth / Proof of age.

c) OBC candidates caste certificate should be issued by authorized authority in the prescribed format
with non-creamy layer certificate and the caste/community should have been included in the Central
lists of Other Backward class. The crucial date for determining the OBC non-creamy layer certificate
will be the closing date of on-line application. OBC for the purpose of AGE RELAXATION AND
RESERVATION will mean Persons of OBC categories not belonging to the Creamy Layer as
defined in Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training OM NO.361012/22/93-Estt.(SCT)
dated 8.9.93 and modified vide Government of India, DOPT OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated
9.3.2004 & DOPT No.36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res.) dt.30.05.2014.
d) SC/ST Caste Certificate should be issued by authorized authority in the prescribed format and the
caste/community should have been included in the Presidential orders in relation to the concerned
state.
e) Experience Certificate.
f) Photo I.D. proof such as Passport/Aadhar card/ Driving Licence /PAN Card/Election Voter Card
issued by Central/State Government.
WARNING : Applications which are not in conformity with the requirements will be rejected. No
correspondence will be entertained with the candidates not selected for interview/appointment.
RECORD OF THE NON-SELECTED CANDIDATES SHALL NOT BE PRESERVED BEYOND 6 MONTHS FROM THE
DATE OF FORMATION OF SELECT LIST.
