1. Summary
The SMS Printer is a fixed wireless terminal for telecommunication operators
to develop fixed telephone services. It takes the advantages of the wide coverage of
mobile communication network and convenient installation to meet the fast increasing
requirement of users. The main functions are Air Voucher Charge and SMS
Printer.

4.1 Insert SIM Card
Note: Please turn off the printer before inserting or getting out of the SIM Card.
1) Take off the SIM card cover at the back of the unit.
2) Move the SIM card clamp in the same direction as OPEN.

5. Basic Operations
5.1 On-Off the phone
Switch On: After switching on the power, the phone starts up. At first, it displays the
software version. Then, it searches GSM network automatically. If it is successful, it
will enter into standby state.
Switch Off: When you do not use the phone, please switch off.
6 .Menu
When the printer is in idle screen, [CONFIRM] key can be pressed to enter into the
main menu. You can also press [] or [] key to choose other menu.
Note: To enter into the submenu, please press [CONFIRM]while press [Cancel] to
exit.
New Message
User can edit message contents under this menu. After the content is edited,
[confirm] should be pressed. Then select send and input the phone number. To
send the message, press [confirm]. If you select Save, it will only save the
edited message.
Inbox
User can read messages received on the phone under this menu.
OutBox
Read the messages which are sent.

1. New order
The SMS server sends a new SMS order with the fixed format to the SMS printer.
After the SMS printer receives the SMS order, the SMS printer beeps thent shows
Press OK To Acknowledge automatically as below.
Press OK To Acknowledge
At this time, you can press OK key to print the content of the order except customer
phone number.
After print, the screen will show "Please Press "OK" to Accept or "C" to reject the
order"
zPress OK key to accept this order, it requires you to input the delivery time.
After input time, the SMS PRINTER will append print the customer phone at the
last of the report. and send confirmation message to SMS server.
zPress C key to reject this order, it requires you to select a rejection reason. After
selecting reject reason, the SMS PRINTER will append print the cancel order
information at the last of the report. SMS PRINTER will send rejection
information to the server.
2. History orders
1) The printer is in idle screen.
2) Press [CONFIRM] to enter into menu, then select the menu of Device
Manage. There is submenu of Order List which can be used to check the
SMS order list.
RECORD LIST

1: Reject Orders
2: Confirm Orders

A. Latest Orders means the message that has not been accepted or rejected which is
to be dealt with it.
B. Confirm means the message that has been accepted. And it displays the order
serial number.
C. Reject means the message that has been rejected. And it displays the order serial
number.
D. SMS PRINTER can store 100 messages at most, so, when messages is over 100,
SMS PRINTER will delete the oldest message automatically.
So user should often enter Order List menu and deal with order in time.
User also can delete all SMS byDevice Manage---SetClear All
U can check next order list by pressing key, and pressing key to check last order
list.
The user can also press [confirm] key to see the details or press [cancel] key to exit
that menu.
3. For Example
For Example: Set Center platform number to be your mobile phone number
(supposed that your mobile phone number is SMS gateway number),then send a SMS
order to your mobile phone number by another mobile phone. The content of test
SMS order is that:

--If the SMS order is accepted, the SMS Printer will reply SMS to server /sender with
content: #11*100026*Accepted* 21:45#
--If it is rejected, the SMS Printer replies SMS to server / sender with content
#11*100026*Rejected*Out of delivery area*00:00#
The Reason is what is selected from REJECT REASON item when you reject the
order.
These 3 parameters are for the PRINTER to connect to internet via GPRS. Please
ask your GSM service provider for these parameters. In china, the UserName and
Password are null.
3) IP, PORT
These 2 parameters are for the PRINTER to logon to your web server.
4) FILE PATH
It is for the Printer to get the orders in TXT file from your web server.
5) CALLBACK URL
It is for the PRINTER to reply accept/decline notice to your web server.
All above mentioned parameters can be transferred to PRINTER via PC
Management system which provided by us.
3. Your web server creates the order in txt file, the file code is ANSI, and save it in
a folder. The format of the txt file is as below example: ( The sample TXT order
file is saved in the folder Example of the CD)

Notice: About the delimiter such as *#*;, it is Half-width characters. Please do not use
Full-width characters.
If you want the SMS printer to send SMS back to the SMS Server, you should set parameter
Center platform number as the SMS gateway number ( For example 12345678).
If some fields are not applicable to what you need, set it to blank.
Every PRINTER should have its own unique txt order file
The orders in the txt order file are those orders, which were not handled
(accept/decline) by the PRINTER yet.
Your web server refreshes the order file in following status.
1. Add new order data to the order file after the customer make a new order.
2. Delete accepted/declined order from order file after the web server received
the return notice (Accepted/declined order) from PRINER.
Important Note: Please make sure every order should be ended with
0x0D0x0A
4. The PRINTER has an option of FILE PATH for setting download order file path.
For example, set FILE PATH as:

Every SMS printer has its own corresponding file name. For example:
SMS printer1: http://121.009.123.234:80/orderfile/orderfile001.txt
SMS printer2: http://121.009.123.234:80/orderfile/orderfile002.txt
SMS printerN: http://121.009.123.234:80/orderfile/orderfile00N.txt
..
The PRINTER will automatically get the orders from your web server on timing.
5. The PRINTER has an option of CALLBACK URL for replying accept/decline
notice to your web server. For example, set CALLBACK URL as:

After the orders were handled (accepted/declined) by the PRINTER, the printer
will submit a reply to the web server. For example:

There are seven parameters.
a is the ResID which had been set in the device (Parameter ID 5 ResID).
o is the Order No which come from the order.
ak is the operation of accepting/Rejecting order. If accept the order,
ak=Accepted. If reject order, ak=Rejected
m is the description of accepting/Rejecting order. If accept the order, m=ok. If
reject order, m is the reject reason that the operator selected when rejecting the
order.
dt is the time that the operator input when accepting/Rejecting order.
u is the user name for login your web server (Parameter ID 58 Login Web User
Name).
p is the password for login your web server (Parameter ID 59 Login Web
Password).

If you do not want it to print sender number, you can change parameter 42 Print Sender Number

Download the ini file to printer, restart printer. Then send a SMS with content This is a test

Appendix A: Safe note
If the terminal is lost or stolen, please report department or outlet in order to forbid
terminal or SIM card.
If the user dont want that the terminal is used by others, please make safe measure.
For example, set SIM password and change password if others have known that.

Appendix B: Notice
User should save manual.
Please read this manual carefully before fixing the terminal.
Dont put terminal in rain or wet place.
The terminal only use valid SIM card. SIM card will be offered by server department.
Dont open shell personal. If terminal has any question, please touch the dealer.
Electric outlet should be fixed nearby the terminal in order to use expediently.
