troubling.ThoughIunderstandyourfacilitiespositioninattemptingtomakeeveryonehappyIamconcerned
thatbreakingnews,orcurrentemergencysituations(regardlessofpolitics)maynotbeviewedinyourfacility.
AsIhaverelayedinpreviousemail,atvariousmedicalcentersacrossthecountry,theTV'sareusuallytunedto
anewsstation.Yourfacilityatthispointseemstobeintheminorityregardingtheserules.
Iurgeabettersolutionforyourpatients.
Thenews,thoughhardlyeverneutralinnature,isthewindowtocurrentandbreakingevents.Ourmilitary
shouldnotbeexcludedfromthatinformation.SinceyouareaDINFOSalum,Iwouldhopeyouwouldagree,
thatjournalismandreportingisparamounttoacontinuingpracticeofrelayingimportantinformationandour
freedomtoembraceitscontent.

rooms.TheTVwasonanationalnewschannel.Thisindividualwaswatching
thechannelwhenhewasapproachedbytwomilitarymembersandwastold"heis

neutral.hewasalsotoldifitremainedonthespecificchannelthatthey
(themilitarymembers)wouldgetintotroubleagainwiththereseniorofficer

tunedtothenews,eitherCNN,FOXorthelocalnewsinthatcommunity.

Additionally,children'svideos,aswellasNickelodeonandDisneychannels
