RECTIFIER COMMISSIONG:
STEP 1:

To start commissioning Rectifier modules and alarms.

Open PowCom software.
As shown in the following picture.

In order to start commissioning, COM port and baud rate should be set.
Click on Communication.
Click on Port Setup.
As shown in the following figure.

STEP 2:

After clicking on Port Setup.

Following screen will appear.
Set your default COM port to 1.
Set your default Baud rate to 9600.

Direct Communication

To establish the connection with Rectifier Panel.

Click on Communication.
Click on Direct connection.
As shown in the following picture.

When connection is established, click on Utilities.

Click on PCS config.
As shown in the following picture.

After clicking
on PCS
config,
following
screen will
appear.

CASE 1:
If you already have PCG file saved in your computer, then click on Load
configuration file and open PCG file as shown below.

CASE 2:
If you do not have PCG file then change all the settings by seeing at following
configuration wizards.

ALARM SIMULATION:

Alarm testing should be done after integration; O&M link should be enabled.
Unlock the site from Nokia OMC.
Open the BTS manger to view alarms.
Open the Rectifier Cabinet and go to LCD panel for alarm simulation as shown in
the above picture.
There are 4 Push buttons as shown in above picture.
Use the up and arrow buttons to go to Alarm limits.
Push Enter button to proceed next.
Before changing the limits wizard will ask to enter password which is by default
1234, use arrow keys to enter password.
Use the following table for respective Alarm simulation.

SIMULATION
Go to high voltage limit and then adjust the limit
HIGH VOLTAGE
by making it lower than the actual voltage.
Push off the button on the upper left corner of the
DOOR OPEN
rectifier cabinet alarm will disappear
Switch off the AC power supply coming from
MAIN FAILURE
WAPDA from ACDB
Go to Low voltage limit and then adjust the limit
LOW VOLTAGE
by making it higher than the actual voltage
Turn off the switch F1 for the Fan and check the
FAN FAILURE
alarm
GO to Temperature limit and then adjust the limit
TEMPERATURE
by making it lower than the actual Temperature
GENERATOR
Turn on the generator
WORKING
TOWER LIGHT
LOW FUEL

Switch off the tower light from ACDB

From the sensor on the fuel tank and change the
status
