Message
A website that is to compliment the logo.

Audience
The design is intended to attract a young family.

Process
I used Notepad++ to make to format the HTML. I styled the webpage by adding
different codes that were given to me at w3.com, and at other various sites.
I wanted the design simple and also a flat design. The header and footer are in the
middle and the sub-headers I found code online that will make arrows on the bottom
to make it look like it was wrapping around the side. The boxes were tricky, they do
not like having multiple items in them and I had to find a way to fit two things and
have them centered. The monochromatic colours used work best since they make it
easy to read the text and help with the different shades of blue.

Letterhead
Message
A Letterhead that would help people understand my customer is a costume designer.

Audience
Intended for people under 50 who like fashion design.

Process
Used Adobe Illustrator to make to trace my clients signature and used the smooth tool
to make it look nice. I put a Teal background behind it, I used the pen tool to make the
outline of the needle and made a circle and used the pathfinder tool to make the hole
in the needle. I used the pen tool to make the pink line, I changed the format so it is
thicker in the middle and thin on the edge. I then made spindle for the thread to wrap
around.
In Adobe InDesign I put the logo on the right side, than covered the top by a teal box. I
then put the text on the right side to add balance to the top of the letterhead. I put the
lines between her name and body text, and I put one on the bottom.

Message

Process
The Logo creation is found in letterhead page.
Back half: I made it by lining out a 2.5 by 3 space on the paper. I put the main logo on
the back and made the background the same teal colour as the Logo. I sized the logo
on the back half.
Front half: I took the needle and words from Illustrator and moved them to InDesign.
I changed the needle to the Teal colour and put an opacity of 50 percent so it is not
distracting from the rest of the picture. I moved the title text side by side and made
both the same size. I made the line and made it the same as the one on the logo
except the tapering of edges. I then placed her name and the rest of the text in. her
name is bigger and the rest of the body text is 8 point. I aligned the title and body text
with the brick line.

Message
I used a trifold brochure to show them what the disaster expo is about, inform them
who is going to be there, and the events that will happen.

Audience
It was made for people who are interested in these genera. It was particularly design
for men.

Process
I started by making the layout for the page by putting the shapes where I wanted
them. I the direct selection tool to format the box where the header is in so it fits in
the box. I formatted the type so it is the same as the one used in the Logo. I used the
gray circles to add repetition to the box.
I placed the picture in the circle I made and used Photoshop to edit the image so it
works in the circle.

Message
It is a message to inspire people to prepare to for the temple.

Audience
It is made for teenagers who are preparing themselves for the temple.

Process
I started with the photo of the mountain and put filters on it to make it look like a
painting. I then took a picture of the San Diego Temple and cropped it out and put
a filter on some parts so it blended the plants with the scenery but the temple was
not changed. I used the colours green, blue and teal for my colour scheme since they
were already in the photo and it will look nice with one that does not affect the whole
picture.

Logo Design
Message
An upcoming company that is selling a new way to communicate, atoms.

Audience
I was making one for people who want newest technology.

Process
I first sketched out three different logos, then I made them in Adobe Illustrator. For
the phone and laptop I traced photos found online to get the perspective correct. I
drew the atoms from my mind.
#1 I made the Laptop and shrink it, than I opened the main text and brought it so all
the letters touch the next one.
#2 I made four circles pout the green ones within each other, made the secondary
font and warped them so they curved.
#3 I made the atoms in this one and made the phone and shrink it. I made a line and
put a gradient in it. I lined up the text so it would fit the rest of the Logo.

Photo Design
Message
The message is to help people strengthen their understanding on how to improve
their knowledge in the scriptures.

Audience
I was going for people that are planning on going to a mission.

Process
I took the photo and edited it so the brick continues through the whole page. I used
the circular marquee tool to make a copy of the girls. I placed a blue background and
lowered the opacity so you can see the brick in the background.
I used Illustrator to make the shield design with the pen tool and placed it in
Photoshop. I then placed the text in the place I wanted them to go, making an edge on
the right.

Brochure
Message

for men who are more interested in these generas.

Process
I used Adobe Photoshop to crop James Dashner. I used the refine edge marker to
soften the edges. I also used it to crop ellie out of one the Last of Us image and placed
it in the other one, resizing it and spot tool to help blend her into the other picture. I
used the levels in Photoshop to brighten the empire state building destroyed.
I used Adobe illustrator to make the expo logo and the company logo on the back. I
used the pen to tool to make the graphic. I then used the eraser tool to separate the
top half from the other. I then placed the biohazard sign in the bottom-middle part
and used the pathfinder tool to crop the biohazard sign from the building.
I placed these the pictures and graphics in the InDesign file and placed them where
I planned them to be. I then placed the text where I wanted them and adjusted
everything so everything would have enough negative space between everything.
I used just red, black, and white for my colours because I felt it told my message the
easiest and really popped the important things out the best.

Message
My message was about getting the news out on a fun event that also would raise
money for C5 Youth Foundation.

Audience
I was pointing this towards families that would have children in it.

Process
I started by making the picnic blanket in the background and made them so they
were at a 50 percent opacity so they blended when they hit, making a plaid colour. I
made circles and added a border that made them look like the text and picture are in
a plate. I gave the boxes a shoasow so they look like they are laying on the blanket.
