Engagement of Technical Consultant (Network & Security Services)

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is providing Statutory Services to the exporters
under STP/EHTP scheme and also extending infrastructural facilities including High Speed
Internet and IPLC links. STPI at present has 53 centres at different locations in the
country.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates fulfilling conditions given herein below
for Engagement as Technical Consultant (Network & Network Security Services ) purely on
contract basis on monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs 50,000/- to Rs 60,000/- initially for a
period of One year to be extended as per requirement.
Description
Technical Consultant (Network & Network Security Services ) 02 Posts
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- - 60,000/- per month (Consolidated) for full time at
STPI-Noida. No extra allowance shall be paid. The remuneration may vary based on the
qualification & experience of the individual.
Qualification and Experience
1. Essential Skill Set for Network & Security Consultant
a. The candidate must have bachelor degree in engineering in (Computer Science/
Electronics/ Information Technology/ and equivalent).
b. The candidate must have a minimum experience of 6 years in managing & executing
Network/ Network Security/ IT projects specially in related areas.
c. The candidate should have knowledge about following :
i. Networking LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, MPLS Networks.
ii. Network Security Firewall, UTM, IDS/ IPS,
iii. Tier I, II, III, IV Data Centers, Network Operation Centers.
iv. Servers DNS, Web, Email etc.
2. Desired Skill Set for Network & Security Consultant
a. Project Management Certification.
b. MCSE & CCNA Certification.

Age limit: Maximum 50 years on the date of advertisement.

Scope of Work / Job Responsibility

1. The Consultant shall provide the Consultancy for building up the world class IT network
and IT service architecture for STPI managed projects.
2. The Consultant shall provide the consultancy including the design, engineering, technical
specification of network, network topology, network layout (includes wired and wireless)
SLA for different services, IP planning, bill of material (BOM) etc. The suggested
proposed architecture from the Consultant should be scalable & flexible to meet the
present and futuristic services requirements.
3. The Consultant shall develop a road map (Phase wise plan if needed) for migration and
implementation of any type of IT services.
4. The Consultant shall assist STPI for preparing the documents/presentations/proposal
and security policy for submission to its client. The document/presentation/proposal may
also include the eligibility criterion, commercial and technical conditions.
5. The selected Consultant needs to provide the progress report after every fifteen days to
the STPI management for the on-going projects.
6. All the proposal/documents/presentations/architecture/policy suggested by the Consultant
must be in accordance to the latest security related guidelines/framework issued by
DOT, MHA and various other Government agencies.
7. The Consultant shall also estimate and to provide the tentative total cost of project as
well as the cost of each phases including the manpower resource (skilled and semiskilled), AMC, warranty etc.
8. The Consultant shall also participate in the meeting with the various other agencies on as
and when require basis.
9. STPI will engage Consultant for above scope for a period initially One Year which can be
further extended as per requirement.

Selection Process
The applications received by the last date of receipt of application shall be screened and only
SCREENED IN candidates shall be called for personal interview.

Terms & conditions:

1. The appointment will be on purely contract basis.
2. Initial contract would be initially for a period of 01 year which may be extended for a further
period as per requirement.
3. The payment would be made on monthly basis as per monthly remuneration agreed to at the
time of engagement.
4. The Income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be
deducted at source before effecting payment.
5. The intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the data collected as well as the deliverables produced
for STPI shall remain with the STPI. No one shall utilize or publish or disclose or part with, to a
third party, any part of the data or statistics or proceedings or information collected for the
purpose of this assignment or during the course of the assignment for the STPI, without the
express written consent of the STPI. The contracted professional shall be bound to hand-over
the entire set of records of assignment to STPI before the expiry of the contract, and before the
final payment is released by STPI.
6. The contracted professional appointed by STPI, shall in no case represent or give opinion or
advice to others in any matter which is adverse to the interest of STPI.
7. STPI reserve the right to cancel this advertisement and not to proceed in the matter, at any
stage, accept or reject any or all applications, without giving any explanation, whatsoever to
screen the candidate, if felt necessary.
8. STPI shall also reserve the right to terminate the agreement/contract with or without giving any
explanation. The termination will be without prejudice to either partys right accrued before
termination.
9. The candidate shall be evaluated by a duly constituted committee based on their qualification,
experience and performance in the interview. Recommendations of the committee shall be
considered for making engagement.
10. The remuneration as indicated above may vary based on the recommendation of the committee.
11. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
12. The result shall be intimated by letter/e-mail & on phone to selected candidates.
