INTRODUCTION

The term "Employee Relationship Management" (acronym ERM),


translate as "management of the relationship with the employees" refers to
the use of technologies in the management of human resources. This
concept is based on client relationship management, with the employee at
its center.

This involves implementing a dedicated information system for the


management of human resources (generally referred to as HRIS), which
makes it possible to cover all problems that are related with the relationship
between a company and its employees, in particular:

• Training, i.e. the preparation of an overall training plan of the


company which makes it possible to handle a catalog of compulsory or
optional internships, requests by employees, and tracking of training
actions.

• Pay, to prepare a statement of payments and mailing of salary


bulletins,

• Recruiting, in particular follow-up on recruiting interviews and new


recruits;

• Competence and career management, consisting in the


implementation of a competence reference standard which permits
improved management of jobs within the enterprise and in-house
transfers. The goal is to value human assets by prioritizing the
competences, knowledge, and know-how of the employees.
• Time management, i.e. the management and quantification of the
activity of the employees of the company, in particular with a view to
compliance with existing laws (reduction of working hours, payment of
overtime, accounting of vacation, work breaks and absences).

• Internal communication, which permits sensitization and transversal


information, which makes it possible to break the isolation of the
different sectors of the enterprise.

The present state of Indian employee


relation in chemical sector is improving at
relatively great rate. Many employers have
started many programmes for the
betterment of employee relationship.
Good Employee relation is a positive
indicator for the company growth. It helps
the company to fulfill its future targets.
This is one of the most perplexing sector that
is Indian chemical sector . Although
employers in these sectors, often they
employ some great employee relations
practices which are the constant target of
an International Union - they have had
several union elections over the last decade
(which they've won - some with our
assistance).
As a Industrial manager following steps are
necessary to be taken into consideration.
Many changes have taken place as to ensure
good employee relation:-
1. The changes included a formal
performance appraisal system with
regular feedback to team members.
Supervisors were coached on both
positive coaching skills as well as
differentiating and coaching poor
performers.

2. Organising get together parties for the


employess. This help employees to get
a sip out from work stress. And employee
get opportunity to get mix up with the
employees.Many employees who are new
to the companies need to adapt the
culture. As such parties plays vital role in
this.

3. Playing stress reducing games for


recreation purpose . As every employees
should take break in between while
performing stress ful tasks.

4. Senior managers should appreciate


their juniors. Rather than making their
official life miserable by giving
inappropriate work to the subordinates.

5. Establishing better communication


channels to provide necessary information
to each employee of the company.

6. Conducting programmes on time


management with prior goal how to
reduce unnecessary movements in the
organization and on other hand increasing
productive movements.

7. Providing a common platform where


any employee or organization promoter
can express his/her
views,ideas,facts,opinions,suggestions
towards organization or etc.

8. Conducting various programmes based


on skills shaping of an individual. Overall
image of an employees need many things
from displine till dedication towards work
with prior objective that is organizational
goals.
