Placement Officer: One Post (On Contract) - UR


Job Profile:
a) To assist Chairman (Placement) in placement activities.
b) Interaction with company executives for Summer Internship and Final Placement.
c) Company visit and arrangement of Corporate Talks for students.
d) Evaluating performance and making recommendations for personal growth;
e) Undertaking presentations on career development, career skills, and career opportunities.
f) Overseeing day-to-day placement, career advertisement and recruitment activities;
g) Coordination of activities with faculty, students, and business community;
h) Coordination and collaboration with other placement offices.
i) To represent the organization at various community and/or business meetings.
j) Providing training in writing resumes, completing applications, and facing interviews.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree preferably in Management with first class or equivalent
from a reputed institute
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in similar capacity in a reputed
Government / Autonomous / Private Business School. Candidates with higher qualifications
and experience will be given preference.
Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
Total emoluments & Contract Tenure: Rs.65,000 - 75,000/- pm depending upon
qualification and experience. The contract will be for a period of two years which may be
extended further on the basis of performance. Higher start may be considered depending upon
qualification and experience.

Systems Manager: One Post (Regular) - UR


Job Profile: System Manager will head IT Department under the supervision of Chairman (IT
Services) with following broad duties:a)

Ensuring functionality of the system.
Planning & implementing IT budget.
Undertaking procurement & upgradation as per Govt. policies in vogue.

Observance of all statutory provisions in procurement / licensing etc.
Managing sudden breakdowns, attacks, viruses including recovery of hardware & software.
Training & Mentoring of support staff.

Qualification: MCA/B. Tech. in Computer Science with first class or equivalent from a
reputed institute. Should have a consistently good academic record throughout.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
Pay Scale: PB 3: Rs.15,600-39,100/-, GP Rs.6,600/-

Administrative Officer: One Post (Regular) - UR


Job Profile:
a) To supervise, plan & implement the admission process to various programs run by the
Institute.
b) Implementation of Admission Policy of the Institute.
c) Lateral & Vertical Coordination with sister IIMs & MHRD respectively.
d) Preparation and furnishing of relevant information to courts, tribunals, MHRD, other
representation on Admission process of the Institute whenever required.
e) Any other duty pertaining to Academic Administration assigned.
Qualification: Masters degree preferably in Management with first class or equivalent from a
reputed institute.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Upper Age Limit: 45 years.

Personal Assistant : Two Posts (Regular) - UR


Job Profile: To perform secretarial and office related functions for the senior officials of the
Institute and to assist them in day to day activities.
Qualification: Masters Degree or equivalent in any disciplines with 60% marks from a reputed
institute.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant area.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years.
Pay Scale: PB 2: Rs.9,300-34,800/-, GP Rs.4,200/-.

Office Assistant : One Post (Regular) UR


Job Profile: To assist the Activity Heads/CAO/ FA&CAO/ AOs, in Academic, Administrative,
Establishment Matters, Stores & Purchase, Protocol, Vehicle Management, Board & Committee
Meetings, organizing of functions /meetings/conferences etc. and other related activities of the
institute.
Qualification: Masters Degree or equivalent in any disciplines with 60% marks from reputed
institute.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant activities as
mentioned in the job profile.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years.
Pay Scale: PB 2: Rs.9,300-34,800/-, GP Rs.4,200/-.

6. Driver: One Post (Regular) - OBC


Job Profile:
a) Safe driving and efficient operation of the Institute vehicles.
b) Ensuring safe transportation of Institute officials during the tour of their duties.
c) Carrying out daily inspection and preventive maintenance of the vehicle.
d) Washing, cleaning and maintenance of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
e) Carrying out periodical maintenance of the vehicle through authorized dealers / garages.
f) As a multiskilling / tasking policy of the Institute, the services of the driver will be utilized
in other analogous areas.
Qualification: 10+2 Pass from State/Central Board preferably with Heavy Motor Vehicle
Driving License.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in driving. Sound knowledge of traffic
rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and the requisite
maintenance procedure.
Upper Age Limit: 45 years
Salary: PB 1: Rs.5,200-20,200/-, GP Rs.1,900/-.

General Information/Conditions:1. Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications & experience
given in the advertisement before applying for the relevant post.
2. Good knowledge of Computer applications (MSWord, Excel, presentations software, Internet
etc.) is an essential requirement.
3. Based on the candidates suitability, the positions will be either on regular scale of pay or
contractual basis (consolidated monthly emoluments).
4. Candidates not found suitable for the position applied for, may be considered for a lower
position.
5. The Institute reserves the right not to select any position without assigning any reason.

6. The Institute reserves the right to change/apply appropriate short-listing criteria in case of large
number of applications.
7. Salary and Emoluments will be commensurate with qualification & relevant experience.
8. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the
candidates for being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
9. The Institute will communicate only with short-listed candidates.
10. No correspondence whatsoever, will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and
result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
12. The application form without the self-attested copies of all relevant certificates (both experience
and Education) will be rejected.

15. Selected candidates will be required to join the duties with in one month.
16. Outstation candidates called for interview for the posts will be paid travel allowance from the
place of travel to Raipur and back by the shortest route through Demand Draft or NEFT on

17. Local travel charges and daily allowance will not be reimbursed.
18. Candidates are required to bring interview call letter at the time of interview along with the
copies of the relevant certificates in original for verification.
19. Incomplete applications will be rejected summarily.
20. The Interview will be held at IIM Raipur campus. The details will be put up on website.
Candidates may visit the website regularly for any updates.
21. Candidates (other than SC/ST/NC-OBCs/DAPs) are required to remit a non-refundable
application fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) per application in the form of Demand
Draft (DD) in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT RAIPUR payable
at RAIPUR. Candidates should mention their particulars (Name, address and position applied
for) on the back of the Demand Draft.
22. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are
therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee.

23. The candidates applying against reserved posts are required to attach the attested copies of
relevant certificate issued from the concerned Competent Authority in the Performa as
prescribed by the Govt. of India. The Institute follows the central list in the case of OBCs.
24. IIM Raipur follows GoI policy on reservation. The selection to the advertised posts will be
made as per the category mentioned against each vacancy. However everything being equal,
preference will be given to the reserved candidate.
25. Candidates working in the Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings should
provide a No Objection Certificate from their employer / department along with the application.
26. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may submit their application on the prescribed
