COMPLETE
SOLUTIONS
FOR PROCESSAUTOMATION

DETECT

EVALUATE

Designed for precise detection

even under the most difficult
conditions: the complete programme includes sensors and components for all kinds of applications.

Magnetic field sensors:

suited for detection of piston positions
on pneumatic cylinders or for pig
detection in pipe systems.

Inductive sensors for explosion

hazardous areas:
with ATEX approval; versions with large
operating distances and for extreme
ambient temperatures of -40 C up to
+100 C; more than 30 sensor housings,
from 4 mm to 90 mm ; all connection
modes.

levelprox sensors:
detection of liquid levels
through metal walls;
non-invasive, no contact with the medium;
predestined for hygienic
or aggressive media
and pressure tanks.

Also as IP69K sensors:

resistant to high-pressure jet cleaning;
aggressive acids and alkalis; ideal for
food industry applications.
Rotary actuator monitoring:
inductive dual sensors in modular housings; to mounted directly on the drive
without any accessories; with integrated valve
control;
bus-capability;
with ATEX
approval.

Analogue sensors:
for explosion hazardous areas, with passive 4...20 mA output; for analogue position sensing, for example the position of
valves, shutters or regulators.
Capacitive sensors:
the standard version is a proximity switch
for non-metal targets or for liquid level
control; to be mounted directly onto the
tube/inspection window. Fine tuning to
the medium via potentiometer.

FCI compact:
This flow control sensor from
the inline sensor family is
ideally suited to the demands
of the chemical industry. The
increased demands placed on
the chemical resistance of the
sensor materials contacting the
media are fulfilled by the
version with ceramic measuring
cells combined with PTFE-process
connection and FKM-seal. The device
also excels with its extremely fast
reaction time of less than 1 second.

Pressure transmitters and

switches:
for ranges up to 600 bar; robust
compact housings; high overpressure resistance; analogue or
switching output; universally
applicable; patented burst
protection.

Linear position sensors:

linear position sensors from TURCK also
offer a host of practical advantages for
level control. For example, the measuring
range and an inverted output signal can
be programmed. Parameterisation is
supported by the comprehensive range
of diagnostic features. Three stainless
steel versions and a PVDF version are
available for the explosion
hazardous areas.

Isolating switching amplifiers:

TURCK isolating switching amplifiers excel through removable
terminal blocks and partly
through a universal operating
voltage range. Connection of
NAMUR sensors and contacts are
possible. Potential free transistor
or relay outputs are provided.

Analogue data transmitters:

there are new analogue data
transmitters to convert and
transmit signals from the
explosion hazardous area. The
new temperature converters are
particularly versatile: they allow
connection of PT100 and Ni100
temperature resistors, thermoelements and mV signals. They are
parameterised via PC (DTM for
PACTware), DIP switch or
programming button plus display.

Limit value monitor:

the limit value is transmitted
as an analogue signal with
0/4...20 mA or 0/2...10 V, or
via a 3-wire sensor transmitter.
Three limit values can be parameterised and are provided as
relay outputs. Furthermore, the
galvanically isolated input signals
are transmitted or converted via
the existing current output.

multicart state-of-the art technology in the proven 19 format:

Standard signal transfer with the
highest packing density
Analogue HART devices
User-friendly processor devices with
PACTware parameterisation
Pin-compatible
solutions
for future
competitor
products

CONNECT
Segment coupler SC12Ex:
redundant isolation between RS485 and
RS485-IS acc. to PNO guidelines. All
three segments
are galvanically
isolated and
regenerate
the amplitude
and phase.

Remote I/O system excom :

a modular intrinsically safe remote I/O
system for use in zones 1 and 2.
Parameterisation and configuration
during operation; consistent HART parameterisation. Line, gateway and system
redundancy are supported. Exchange
and addition of all components
during operation (hot swapping).

Consistent HART communication

with AMS or DTM:
Using the remote I/O system excom,
the user can now parameterise and
monitor his HART field devices from the
process control level. This is accomplished by defining and implementing
software interfaces for consistent HART
communication. excom has been integrated into AMS and a DTM has been
written for the FDT frames so that both
solutions use excom as an intelligent
HART multiplexer in addition to the process data exchange function.

TRANSFER
FOUNDATION fieldbus/
PROFIBUS-PA:
when connecting intelligent field devices
to the higher level control, use TURCKs
complete line of connection products:
field-wireable or pre-wired M12, 7/8connectors and cordsets, active and passive
junctions (4 or 6 port versions), flange
components and coupling nuts made of
corrosion proof stainless steel.

FOUNDATION fieldbus/
PROFIBUS-PA multibarrier:
The number of field devices per bus segment is increased in the explosion
hazardous area with the
multibarrier.
Galvanic isolation
between the trunk
line and outputs as
well as between the
individual outputs
Switch-in termination resistor
IP67 degree of protection
Four short-circuit protected intrinsically
safe outputs of 40 mA each

Ethernet - with enhanced

protection in the field:
In addition to prefabricated cables with
M12 and RJ45 connectors, there are
5 and 9 port switches to IP67 available
with an admissible ambient temperature
from -40 C to +85 C.
Furthermore, 8 and 16
channel Ethernet l/O
stations with their
own website
round off the
product range.

I/O system BL20:

modular and flexible, owing to gateway
integration for all common fieldbuses,
the system remains open to new bus
technologies. The I/O stations can be
configured bit-by-bit. Modules can be
exchanged during operation; system
planning, commissioning and set-up via
user-friendly software.
