Abstract

This project study aimed to improve the processes of Conchas Bread Hauz through the
development of sales and inventory system.
Specifically, it sought to identify and describe the following: existing processes in
Conchas Bread Hauz manual inventory system, problems confronting the existing system, and
the functional and nonfunctional requirements by the stakeholders in the system.
The study was conducted using research and development design. It was paired with the
Sashimi Waterfall Model, traditional waterfall with overlapping phases, as software development
model. Sashimi Waterfall Model involves the following phases: requirements gathering and
analysis, design, coding and testing.
Also, various techniques were used to define the requirements of the system. These
include observation, interviews, analysis of existing projects, and library and Internet research.
Further, the tools used for data analysis include use ER diagram, database schema and
wireframes.
With the functionalities integrated in the developed system based on the functional and
non-functional requirements of the stakeholders, the developed system can improve the current
manual sales and inventory system. Problems encountered in the existing sales and inventory
processes are solved through the system.
