Discurso, globalizao, linguagem, semitica social, mdia e novas tecnologias. Teoria social da
Mdia: meios de informao. Vozes da globalizao. Recontextualizao: (re)locao e
(de)locao. Reconfigurao da linguagem no contexto da globalizao: argumentao, metfora,
multimodalidade e modalizao na perspectiva da semitica social.
OBJETIVO: Discutir as implicaes da globalizao no discurso e nas prticas discursivas contemporneas, bem
como captulos e artigos recentes sobre a mdia e as novas tecnologias, luz da Multimodalidade na perspectiva
da Semitica Social.
